is the gnx really a auto-tran or is it manual tran?

The turbo Buick be it Grand Natioal, TTA, and or GNX all came with an automatic 200R4 transmission. It was "ok" at best but usually took the beating from the engine horsepower more then anything else on the drivetrain. You can actually go faster with a turbo engine with automatic. It's not as easy with a manual shift. That's why the fastest super charged cars (like Mustangs) are manual! :)

GN by far! Monte Car Slows are horrible as are The Olds Gutless! :) GN will smoke them bone stock and get better milage!

1986-87 GN's were the best(fastest) GN's but even a non intercooled 84 GN will spank a monte or cutlass.........unfortunately though t-types and GN's are rather pricey (for a first car) heck I still can't afford one. *sighs*

I would get an external mic you could mount out of the wind, then that would make it perfect. Pretty freakin cool though!
