hey my iphone 3g has broken... the lock button deosnt work the home button doesnt work either, any chance of getting a qoute on it?

PLEASE HELP ME!!! i tried fixing my home button, it worked but it took a lot of pressing for it to work. I opened itup and i pushed the two gold connector thingys that were on the thinner part and i accidentally broke them off. Is it possible to put the small gold pieces bak on or do i have to buy a whole new home button? And how much would that cost?

@RecoveryPhase If you are able to, you can put some solder where the contacts were, as long as the amounts of solder are big enough, they will make contact where they need to, we have done this quite few times, it costs £15 GBP in the uk

I can't take my LCD fully off because I rounded of one of the screws, will this still work if I spilt the main phone frame, from the LCD and then also take the front glass digitiser off?

@Clarkinator26 You should be able to take the digitizer of with the lcd there, but that can be dangerous for the lcd, plus the lcd will still be attached to the midframe

@LeonAtTPCS It should be okay cause I managed to replace a broken digitiser and screen with a new one whilst the LCD was still partially attached to the mid frame. The LCD does not cover the home button though does it? So still should be able to work on the home button on the mid frame with the LCD still attached if it remove the front glass digitiser?
