Let's ignore the fact that the population was 3 billion back in 1960 and reached 6 billion in 1999. That is 39 years to double, not 150. Actually, the last doubling of the worlds pop took 40 years (1960-2000) and before that was 60 years (1900-1960) therefore we should take the estimate of 50 years not 150 (I know this is wrong just go with it). Since it takes 32.5 doublings to reach 6 billion the first people should have lived in the year 375 AD, there goes Jesus.

I like using Giant Pandas as an example of population growth. If there were 2 after the flood, it would stand to reason that there would be more pandas than humans today, because they give birth at earlier ages than humans. But there are less than 10,000, nowhere near 6.5 billion.
