  • Love this song. Theres a great (I really liked it anyway) foreign film "Korean" called: Nowhere To Hide (Movie - 1999) that has this song in the begining. If you like this song check it out, GREAT visuals!

  • GREAT SONG!!! NIKOLA STANUDIN

  • esse vidio e da hora

  • Don't think it's much of an accident that 5 songs from the Best of Bee Gees album, almost half this compilation, were off their First album.

  • beebeepeebeepee~

  • just love this song...so sweet

  • love this song. as I do all the BG's....Words, etc...

  • This is a language that has been lost for generations. The words of this language takes us off drugs and causes us to encounter real feelings and a desire to live and be right. Because we have allowed others to speak for us in the language of music we have lost our ability to feel real feelings and experience real love. When we get lost in the music language, we forget how to speak from the genuine place of our heart. And so we speak what others think and loose who we are. Learn to speak! #2

  • Don't critisize the transition. The world as we knew it was getting too stuffy. The music was too heavy and drugs were taking over. Depression was causing people to contemplate or commit suicide. Drugs are a depressant! Even speed or uppers. After they have run their course they drop you into deep depression. The change in music brought about a chance in peoples mindset. Music is the universal language. We all speak music. But we all need to learn to speak heart and love language. #1

  • Holiday blijft de max. Ik heb vandaag weer een holiday gehad.

En ik vind het de max dat J Lo the sounds familiar gebruikt voor haar commercial for Fiat!!!

  • Listen to the first few words in the new J Lo commercial for Fiat...hmmm, sounds familiar?

  • ..Best Bee Gee's song ever...Simple Awsome !!

  • Heard this on the nation's top oldie station-WCBS-FM-Thursday while i was sitting in the park on the first clear day in 7 weeks here in the Northeast.

  • After all these years this song came to me. Don't know how or why but thank goodness for youtube and all you good folks that upload this stuff. Makes an old man happy!

  • IM SUCH A HOLIDAY =D we love you and miss you BEE GEES

  • This is the song you walk out to, to make you look like a badass.

  • @8182570 I once knew a wrestling team that came out to this song. It was pretty impressive to see a bunch of muscular guys run out onto a mat while playing this song. Quite amusing.

  • esta cancion es bellisima!

  • if you like this song, theres a small possibility you'll like the song nappy roots day, by nappy roots, very noticeable

and if you like the nappy roots version, theres an even less likelihood you'll notice it the song Seasons (remix) by the CunninLynguists, (kicks in at 1min45sec)

  • My son likes this song because it sounds like they're singing about peepee at 01:20 and 02:33. :)

  • Comment removed

  • @GRAFFITIST~ I for one thank you for posting it. I agree with you.

  • I used to think they were a group who emerged during 70's disco era ...never knew they were contemporary with The Beatles in the 60's!

  • Superb!

  • i love it!

  • ur a hot anus

  • This song has been running through my head, off and on, for oh, the LAST FORTY YEARS. Thank you for helping me identify and find it!

  • The korean movie holiday brought me here =)

  • @ketsuekiblood me too :)

  • Do you have to use the F word? The Bee Gees wouldn't appreciate it. Don't we love their music?

  • the holiday bit always sounded to me like 'harlot' day.. and it somehow enhances the mood....

  • SO FUCKING GREAT SONGSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • one of my faves, thanks

  • Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dizzee rascal holiday is way better

  • @animegalc4 Dizzee Rascal sucks in general. His music is shit.

  • JUST FUCK THE SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE SONG!

  • @thedeadcockroach lol Yes. Lets all FUCK the shut up. I uploaded these songs not so people could rant about em in the comments section, but for y'alls enjoyment. Music like this doesn't need defending; it's perfect, crystalline. Don't feed the trolls.

    - Keep enjoying.

  • @thedeadcockroach Well said... now on with the music!

  • como me recuerda a mi familia en la sala habia un tocadisco o pico donde poniamos los discos de vinil era como un mueble decorativo creo que todas estas vivencias nunca se olvidaran,de verdad que la musica era magica en todo su sentido

  • i love it~~~

  • Ich steh ja eigentlich gar nicht auf ältere Musik, aber dieses Lied ist TOLL! *-*

  • The pop music of the 1960s was the best. It was the pinnacle. EVERY song then sounded different from every other. The tunes, the simplicity, the innocence is all so clear.......... this song is one of the best of the best

  • im 14 and my fave band is definitely the bee gees

  • avevo solo 17 anni.....wonderful song....

  • "Holiday" was performed By Tommy Glesston

    1965 Sony Music Entertainment Inc.

  • @gibsosgerbil Not this version, this was not written unti 66/67

  • Lovely, enigmatic and haunting poetry.

This song is about breaking up. The singer still loves the girl and sees that the break up is all his own fault. The singer is struggling with his faults, the faults that destroyed the relationship he treasures.

When it is his turn he says, 'your such a holiday.' He is saying, 'your such a refreshing and enjoyable break from the mundane.'

The author may have previously mocked her enjoyment of 'the puppets.'

This is a bittersweet apology, too late.

  • this is great :)

  • Crying! I am crying because I love this music. That's it.

  • I'm 14 and I love this song :D

I know this song from my father

  • listen up! as you know there are only 2 of the bee gees alive today. of all the great singers of those days, most have past on. we need to revive this era of music before it dies with them! every chance you get, play your favorite classic song so that everyone can hear it! let the young know and the old remember the best era of music we have ever known! dont let these great songs disappear! copy and paste this on every classic song you listen to on youtube! -TheDragonsWorld-

  • I wish the music on the announment system played this music in my high school.

    Wish it did.

  • Good times!!! It´s so good...Bee Gees are the best ever!!

  • LONG LIVE THE 60-89

  • this song is so haunting.

  • good song

  • beatiful

  • Pure magic. That was the BeeGees. I could listen till my ears bleed on this tune.

  • Hola desde España (Europe), es una canción muy bonita...

  • Yep Green Day "Holiday" can't even touch this song, I love The Bee Gees.

  • I'm a 60 year old 'hippie' and this is solid!!!

  • @nicholsjoshua15 -- Madonna had a hit by this name too!

  • @nicholsjoshua15 green day can lick my hot anus

  • @Syzygy60 Yuck! I think Green Day is such a joke. They call themselves a Rock Band, no The Smashing Pumpkin, The Doors, The Bee Gees, Nine Inch Nails, and R.E.M. are Rock Bands. Green Day is an Emo pop band.

  • @nicholsjoshua15 Actually,Green day is pop punk...but in their begginings they were absolutely punk.Well, they changed. The Bee Gees are not Rock, they are symphonic rock (I think) and have some Dance/Pop songs.R.E.M. is pop.I'm so sorry for saying it,but saying some 80's music is pop/pop rock is quite a good thing.Back then pop music was great.I just love REM

You can say Green Day is turning a power pop band,I won't say anything to you, cause it's partly true, but gosh, they're not emo

  • @LittleBro31x9 Bee Gees was Pop, Soft Rock (Holiday, Massachusetts) in the 60s then mainly Disco and Soul (Night Fever, Staying Alive) in the 70s. This song is a pop/rock music back in those days.

  • Sounds like Nico in her solo days

  • I love the song, but what does it mean? >.>

  • @wrathofautumn Lyrics and poetry are always left to the imagination of course, but think about what a holiday is, it's a break from the mundane, a special day that makes you happy. This woman he sings about is that, to the point that even something as simple as a puppet making her smile is something noteworthy to him. Of course, when you can't have that special person, it's unkind.

  • This and Ruby Tuesday (right before the chorus) sound eerily similar

  • This is the way music was meant to be.

  • This is the first album I bought...I was 11 years old....1972...and I still have it!!!!!!!!

  • Delicious , as allways

  • Lovely song.... I'm on holiday now and loving this song. Please check out my cover version

  • I was born in 1954, so this is music from my teens. At the time I thought is was crap, as I was into Zeppelin etc. My mate Giles loved them, now I see why...some people take a while to get it!

  • love this song!! its my aunt and my fav

  • I listening remember this song in my childhood 10 or 11in JPN

Bee Gees sung this great song!!

  • This in sooooooo beautiful and wonderful. Best Bee Gees sing ever. Love you guys.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this song, and other songs from the Bee Gees. I've been searching for this for a very long time, and thank goodness I found it here! Bee Gees live on forever in our hearts!

  • #202 bee gees holiday top songs of the 60s

  • unfortunatelly today is crap music that rules lol lucky me.... born in 60"s....whoo hooo

  • @Mhaza

I was in the 90's, and I say 90% of the musics today are crap. :)

There are so few like Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand and Enya.

Classics like the Bee Gees are still among the Greatest Songs of all Time. And songs of 2000's will never beat Bee Gees. :)

  • @Mhaza I mean "I was born in the 90's"

  • bitzrulz thank u lol but let me tell u something i only started listen to wonder girl cuz of heechul who is the fav. of all those group and oh yea i 4get ss501 there so good how could ik 4get them

  • i am 19 and i love hearing good music this is one of the best but i also love hearing k pop music such as Super Junior, (sub group Super Junior M, T, H, KRY), SHINee, DBSK, FT Island, SNSD Wonder Girls, and more. and guess what im latina

  • @cruzelala lol i came here to listen to this song because of kpop xDD

or at least because of running man. but i love every single one of those groups you named up there (except for possibly the wonder girls... i never really liked any of their songs except for so hot...) but anyway i am chinese-american :D

  • very depressing song.

  • This is the first song I think of when I think of the Bee Gees. It is the one that rises to the "gives me goosebumps" level. In a word - haunting!

  • Oldies Rocks~! Beiber Sucks! =D

Beiber Will Never Be Famous Than Bee Gees <3

  • i'm confused about this song....the title is "holiday", but.. why do they composed a sad song? not glad?

  • pee pee pee pee p pee

  • I am 14. And I listen to beatles, beegees and scorpions. Screw modern music

  • Damn, these guys were good at everything: disco, baroque pop, R&B, etc. Also, is it me or does the lead singer on this song sound a bit like Paul McCartney?

  • In my mind, the Wizard of Oz should've been done with the Brothers Gibb instead of the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion, and at the end of it all, when Dorothy's just about to go back to Kansas, she would say, "I think I'll miss you most of all, Maurice."

  • This has to win the all-time award for the saddest song with the happiest title...if she's a holiday wonder if it's "the day of the dead" in mexico ? ; }

  • The bee gees are the reason they call it music.

If it wasnt for them then music would be shit like stuff these days.

    No comparison. AT ALL

  • I wish the Bee Gees would have made more music like THIS song. That DISCO was CRAP

  • @angrygynecologist They made more songs like this then disco songs, that is just sticking to their asses

  • Im a teenager and i hate modern day music i love the old stuff... the songs that actually had meaning! thumbs up if u agree!

  • It takes all kinds and to those who try and put others down for the music they like JUST DON'T GET IT! Too bad for them

  • @coryndarrell It's true. Arguing about which music style is better than the next is like arguing about which food tastes better or which clothing style is better, overall. Such bickering is pointless. Fights like that could go on and on forever if we let them.
