haha..." son'io che lo ha svenata " is somewhat funnier than c'est moi qui l'ai tuée.........with all that inflated acting too and the the unfamiliar accent on CARmen instead of carMEN....oh and when she throws her ring with a little squeeky POP (i much prefer a growled TIENS!) ....well, i laughed at the end instead of crying....but what a hunk! and lovely voice..... :P

Corelli!!! I love this man!! I love Carmen the opera... but I hate Carmen herself. she's devious... makes a decent man lose everything he has, his lover, his mother, his freedom, his job as a respectable soldier, his dignity... all so she can dump him for some dude who kulls bulls for a living. She deserved to die!!!!

Assolutamente d'accordo! Corelli aveva immense capacità sceniche, oltre che vocali, una padronanza del proprio corpo e dei movimenti che derivava ovviamente dalla pratica sportiva giovanile. Nelle mani di un bravo regista avrebbe dato prove formidabili.

E con quel fisico statuario, se Corelli se fosse attivo oggi lo farebbero sempre stare in scena seminudo, come Ramey qualche anno fa... e farebbero benissimo! ;-))

Corelli desde un comienzo demostró ser un gran actor, además de su bellisima y potente voz, no superada ni igualada a la fecha, sus interpretaciones son magnificas, insuperables inolvidables. B. Amparan is just stunning. I love that voice. Does somebody know where I can get her recording as: La Cieca in La Gioconda, as she is wonderful in that role as well.

@karendalgaard I purchased that La Gioconda from Amazon market place sellers. It's a wonderful performance and Belen Amparan is wonderful. I also have a Gianni Schichi with Corena and Amparan as Zita from the Met. Again her voice is gorgeous and she's a standout in any setting.
