what kind of fly were you all using? because im coming out to flat creek this fall to fish and I would like to pick up a few tips for it. And are the cutthroat that smart that you have to get low???
It really depends on what is hatching at the time that you go. I believe that one woman was using an ant. You can almost always find terrestrials on a stream during the summer so ants, beetles, hoppers and standard attractor patterns such as a stimulator will work. And when you get low like that, it is less likely that the fish will see you and therefor will not be spooked.
