Haha. Recreational vehicles will most likely all be 4 strokes in 10 years. It's hard to find a 2 stroke bike or quad anymore. Everything is moving to 4 stroke because they have designed them lighter and increased there power a ton. Easier to take care of too. Great machines for trail riding or cross country racing. Suppose the motocross industry they work too. =)
No. Weight is a very big deal. The surfaces are completely different than dirtbikes. My opinion is that they will never be topping out 2 strokes in the snocross industry. Not anytime soon anyways. Come along ways with there races sleds but would never race one. Phenominal cross country and trail sleds though. Give that to them! =)

I raced basically for free with a certain team. I owned my sled but it was hauled around with the team. Polaris makes a good sled. I haven't been around the new 600. I here its a good one though. 600= MORE HP. So with that on mind. I would take the bigger motor...=)

Is it set up for trail riding? What compression were you running? High compression head or what? If it was running a high compression head that could be why. Must reclutch sled and rejet it if you wanna ride ditches/mountains/trails...
That's why. You can't run a race sled backcountry without changing some major things. The most non racing my sled ever saw was driving from trailer to starting gates. Most of the time we dollied it up to the start.
They are already equiped with coolers. All you need to do is put a low compression head on. Re jet your primary jets. Re clutch. You can get all the specs on the internet or at your local Polaris dealership..

Yeah, I have yet to get my videos from the owner of my team. Nothing I can do about it. I will get the videos up when I can. Plus, you ride a phazer anyways, you couldnt handle the massive air in the vidz anyways..=)
