The music was Because the video was sped up to enhance the viewing of the rotation leaving no sound.

I think that there was a tornado coming out of that wall cloud.

This was actually 15 or so minutes after the tornado had gone through.

I think he meant it would be fun to chase tornado's calm down ok? I live in Iowa too, I feel very close to home with this tornado, all my family grew up and for some time I did in parkersburg, calm down.

I have to agree with you horseowner. I watched it go through Washington Iowa in 98, but this is much worse. RIP to the 8 people who died in this storm. God bless them.

was that a storm chase or a sunday drive. seemed like you came in on the wrong side of the storm, then you went too far south of the cell. not to put down your footage, if nothing else you can work a camera while driving. but from someone who actually caught the storm in new hartford i think it was better you didnt find anything more than outflow, from a concerned individual and an experienced chaser, youre lucky you didnt get yourself hurt.

I was on the wrong side of the storm. This is why I had to let it pass. I'm not going to cut through the storm N to S only to run into the tornado. I was attempting to circle around the back end. At this point is was heading due east, then it turned NE which is why I had to go back N out of Independance. As a careful and experienced chaser, It was better to miss the thing than to have chanced cutting through the cell in front of it. It was just a matter of having the wrong starting point.

the storm went right over us, we had tornado warnings in butler county, i didnt think anything about it just sat on the couch and watched the news..then it all passed..got to school today and i saw all these pictures and videos and everyone talkin about what happened..im pretty much speechless =\

the storms in butler seemed more localized, then expanded as it moved east.
