i have heard and seen yoko kanno(cowboybebop soundtrack) when i was like 12 and it was so shivvering back then. And when u see this it is incredible what kind off sound comes out. Same feelings... SHIVVVERRRRED! thumbs up :)

at first I didn't like this. To me, renditions of songs, aren't perfect replication of them, but rather the slight variations of each artist that makes it theirs.

I didn't notice the variations till now. very nice work, shame the sound quality isn't a little better, but then thats not your fault mate, its the recording device you used. 7/10

Honestly, sound is sound. When it comes to how you play, it all goes into what YOU hear. Keep going with your tone. I actually have my woodwinds do something called the water technique. what it basically is, it's when you go on a water diet and drink water when you get the chance. What that does is it extends your lungs, giving you more air to blow into your horn, and giving you more range. If possible, please let me know of ANY Sheet music you might have from YOKO. Thanx.

they could but it depends on the notes because on tenor it would have to be 3-4 notes higher to sound the same.

First thing he should do is get rid of the lacquered sax - they have a smooth sound, but a "non-sound" in my humble opinion.  When you wrap a sax in plastic, you get what you get.

Overall I'd say you did a good job. The tone sounded harsh to me at times but that's probrably because im used to hearing my Yamaha Custom EX. Some vibrato definitely would've helped. The tongueing was hard in a few spots but not too noticeable. Make sure you support the tone with enough air, especially on the higher and lower notes. BTW, I have played Alto for 8 years and played tenor in my high school's jazz band and orchestra.
