The language spoken in the first airline was Amharic, the national language of Ethiopia. Ethiopian Arilines uses Amharic and English for its passengers. It looks like the Ghanian brother flew on Ethiopian from Accra to London via Addis Abeba.
In the air it was 21 hours, I did extended layovers and stayed with friends along the way. There are much easier ways to get to Ghana but I booked late.

I miss Ghana already. I grew up there. I've always had a tensioned relationship with that country--love and hate.
