Wrong. This is Pixar, which Disney bought and will ruin. Every year, Pixar makes great movies like Wall E, Up, and Toy Story. Disney makes Bolt and Mars Needs Moms. Even Tangled, as much as I liked it, doesn't have half as much soul and creativity a Pixar movie has. Or, Disney comes out with great movies like Aladdin and The Lion King then sucks them dry with up to 5 sequels. Now that Disney's bought Pixar and Toy Story 3 was a hit, suspiciously Pixar has more sequels planned. Yay Disney.

@nychicacharm Wrong. John Lasseter is head creative chief of both Pixar and Disney now. Which is why Tangled is as good as it was. Much as I feel a certain amount of apprehension about the new sequels from Pixar, I won't judge them until I see them. After all, John Lasseter has said that Pixar only makes sequels if they think there is an amazing story that needs to get told. And I personally don't mix Disney Animation with Disney Live Action- they are quite different.

@nychicacharm I think Disney Animation was once great, and is well on their way to getting better under John Lasseter's guidance. It is tricky for Disney in particular, because they have a certain legacy of a 'certain-type-of-movie' that they need to follow through. Pixar however, can come up with any imaginative idea they want, its like their policy or something. I love Pixar with all my heart, but I'll always have a special place for Disney Animation. They made my childhood, after all.

@nychicacharm Actually, Mars Needs Moms was made by ImageMovers Digital, a company that was still bad even before Disney bought them. Even though Disney owned IMD when they produced 'Mars', it was still IMD that solely produced it, just as Pixar produces their films. And Tangled has enough soul and substance as any Pixar film. Its 89% rating on Rotten Tomatoes is far better than Cars' 74% and Cars 2' 38%.
