In Italy the name of these motos was Sport Special, not Supersport... Why yours is called Supersport? Also I have one of these, dated 1970, whose name is Motobi Sport Special 250 and that goes very well... Bye!!!
I cant remember where its at on my 74 right now. I know on my 67 its on the main diaganal part of the frame on the left side. Motor no was on top of engine case on right side over transmission .

Because that is what the bike was called by the U.S. Importer/Distributor, Cosmopolitan Motors.

Yea mine is a 74 so it has the wedge valve cover instead of the round one. Cool stuff.
