apparently chuck norris was 42 when he did this picture but he looked a lot younger and his physical condition cardio was in excellent shape. he did keep himself in nice shape. he also went on to more movies for the next 6 years

This is one movie I believe SHOULD be remade. The idea is great! Tough-cop vs Michael Myers from "Halloween". Genre-mixing at its best. A remake by someone like Rob Zombie could make this great. Someone who can actually act in the lead role, the bumbling, fat partner toned down, the lame love story lessened, and a darker tone. I would absolutely use Ron Silver again. He's always great.

Zombie's first pic was UNWATCHABLE, but with "Devil's Rejects" he improved by leaps & bounds. If you liked it, you must agree the guy's got some talent. "Rage" is definitely a cult classic/guilty pleasure. I still hope somebody(if not Zombie; I doubt he'd do it anyway) updates it. Chuck Norris SHOULD NOT BE IN ANYTHING! I remember seeing this years ago on cable and loved how they mix genres together without making it campy...well a bit campy but not over the top. lol As for a sequel some films are better of without them and that includes those who have sequels. This movie is one of the best in the slasher/horror genre. Most of the slasher/horror has a comical element but this one adds a touch of science which gives it a realistic feel. Not to mention Chuck Norris's karate. This movie is definitely one that belongs in your collection, it will be enjoyed by generations to come.
