  • i live on south jardin st now

  • My father was a native Shenandoian, 100% Lithuanian. He went to college in 1935 (Gettysburg), graduated, WW2 happened, and he never moved back. He would bring me there to visit his brother and the graves of his family. My husband, kids, and I would go back once a yr to tend to the family plot on the hill. It still looks the same as it did in this very interesting film clip. I wish he were alive to see it. Thank you.

  • I lived on South Jardin in the 1980's and 1990's. It was almost scary to see this video. There is doctor's offices and superintendant's homes. Now no professionals move to Shenandoah. This is a relic and I am glad you posted it.

  • Population was once 20,000+ now down to a little over 5000. I am sure if they counted all the illegals they would be closer to 20,000.

  • That was superintendant zales house at 1:41.. Waters funeral home at 2:32. The intire clip was on North Jardin St. It's assame no people could be scene.

  • What year is this?

  • 1975
