Everbody and I mean everybody should change to Amazon. Sellers won't sell their items on ebay if the person who is interested is banned from bidding. My point is ebay should give a suspended member at least still the chance to contact a seller if there is a item you just can't find anywhere else for a possible deal outside ebay, which the seller I think would appreciate as well.

Ebay will do anything in their power to royally SCREW its sellers. They have given the buyer all of the rights by taking them away from the seller. Buyers will do anything in their power to find something wrong with your items and demand a refund, even if you list the item AS IS. They do this, or they demand partial refunds for various malicious non-reasons. I also hate the way that the seller can no longer leave the buyer negative feedback. SCREW EBAY!

so i checked with the bank if the transaction was maid. they said no. so i clicked the paynow button on the invoice. A review of my order was there and i pressed continue which took me to paypal log in. I logged in and it asked for my bank details (again). I typed them in and then it said sorry this user already exists.. WTF??!!!! how the hell do you buy stuff, am i thick or is this just messed up?? can anyone help????

Ebid, iOffer, Craigslist, OOdle are all better than Ebay. Moneybookers and Google Checkout are better than Paypal when comes to leveled playing field for both sellers and buyers. Avoid Paypal like a plague if you are a seller!!! Selling using Paypal, 50/50 you will loose everything!

I totally agree with you, they are getting greedy, plus their customer service it's not customer service at all. Last week I posted an auction, they canceled it "because somebody said there was a copyright isue", they did it twice, I ask them to give me a more specific reason, they could not even give me one, so all the people that had allready made a bit, were notified, this made me loose business, for a FAKE REPORT, they care about sellers, all they care is to making more money out of us.

I feel for you, I am trying to sell on eBay and my profit margins aren't that high on the things im selling. So when ebay raises its fees, its a big deal. They charge way more money than a lot of states tax its own people on transactions. They are making billions and I havent a clue where that moneys going.

Check out base(dot)google(dot)com it's ebay's worst nightmare, it's free, and it's in beta testing now. Best thing is that your items show up in google search results. They aren't exclusive of paypal or ebay like ebay is exclusive of everything.

Ebay was great before the men at the top got greedy, Ebay had the power to appeal to a very wide audience, of all ages, counties, social backgrounds and interests, because it was so diverse, almost anything you could think of, that you might want to buy, was on there.

This diversity was Ebay's true strength and it is this diversity that is going to be lost.

The little people are being squeezed out.

It's being made so, that it's just not worth their while to list items for such a poor return....

I am for the strike, due to the price hike! However, the feedback change can be seen as good thing and a bad thing. All the sellers are complaining about fraudulant bidders; however, there are also a lot of fraudulant sellers. As far as Pay-Pal goes, if I have money in my account I use it to bid on other merchandise that I sell in yardsales and flea markets. Then again I mostly sell adult movies on eBay which does not allow Pay-pal as a payment, so I seldom have money in that account.

why does feepay care about bringing back buyers??? buyers don't pay them didley! we the sellers are their customers...we're the ones feepay should worry about running off. if those idiots realized that attracting more sellers (increasing competition) drives prices down they'd understand that is the better buying experienc buyers are looking for...of course they think shipping is too high...gas is +$3/gal...if you don't sell on feepay, when was the last time you shipped something???

How to bring eBay to it's knees:

If feedback -- has no value -- buyers and sellers will find another place to sell and shop. The threat of ruining ebay's feedback system will get them to listen.

Since there will be no repercussions for a buyer to give negative feedback -

If everyone started leaving negative feedback, even if it meant buying something from someone who is selling during the protest -- it would make ebay's feedback unless -- which is the Last thing they would want.

Paypal wants to hold money for 20 days before seller can deposit it into a ban account. They can do what ever they want with it within that time period. They can even suspend you for whatever reason and hold it longer.

I sell partime on Ebay Germany. I accept NO PAYPAL whatso ever! It is bank transfer or nothing at all. Since Ebay has come up with their plan on protecting the buyer and not the seller, I have decided to take the matter in to my own hands. I indicate on my Ebay site should anyone give me a negative feedback just to retaliate against me (Black mail), I will sue that person in a German court to have the feedback removed from my account. I am very fair with everyone I sell to!
