  • Butter? Butter in the masa? OMG. I am sorry but that is heresy. Stick to manteca (lard) or even Crisco.

    Your adaptation of spring form pans and a splatter guard for a tamalera pot are pretty good.

  • hi i love here invention too..lol i hear ya bout the tamale soup lol... we tie the ends on ours or wrap them in wax paper... Btw.. u can find the springform pans at walmart for under 10 bux is how much i paid for mines came wt 3... also michaels and joanns have them.
