  • I have voles as pets. Contrary to what you may have heard, they are easy to tame, they are not a risk-factor for disease, and once tamed they bite only as much as a mouse, hamster or guinea pig you'd buy from the pet store, which is rarely. If you're going to catch a vole to keep as a pet, catch a young one. A young one will quickly grow to accept you, while a fully grown adult won't so much. Also, select a type of vole that lives more than three months. I keep red-backed voles for that reaon.

  • I have a vole in my house at the minute I'm gonna catch him and turn him into my pet!

  • I wouldn't want one of my kids to pick one up, get bitten and get some disease as a result. I've got some in my yared by my front steps and have found some useful videos to get rid of them.

  • they ripped up my lawn

  • Voles are awesome. =D

This is one of the few good videos on youtube featuring these cute creatures.

  • I love Voles, they are so cute. Accually I have one in my house right now, and I am trying to capture it humanly and admire it's cuteness.

  • What a delightful video of the humble vole. If only more users would upload such joyful visage rather than the sickening destruction of our furry friends the world would be a nicer place. Regards, Redman.

  • @redders9999 these rodents are a pain in my ass! i usually kill about 30 a year during the spring. don't worry, the vole trap snaps his neck quickly. have a great day.
