  • Very great stuff,thumbs up

  • @AndyThePinoy Is there three of the red white and yellow plugs on it for Xbox 360 gaming?

  • This dude has no idea what he is talking about.

  • hdmi1.4 is now 3d ready right?

  • hey andy.i bought it.i finally bought it !! (lol) ;)

  • which is better? dvi or hdmi for gaming ?personal oppinion XD thanks bro

  • hi bro; do i have to connect the monitor with a dvi connector to get 3d vision from nvidia or a 3d gaming image? thanks

  • hey, i just bought this monitor which came with nvidia 3d glasses kit. the 3d works amazing, but whenever the screen goes black for like loading games or like watching movies and has black screen behind, the screen looks like is split. left side is hazy and has tiny green dots all over it while the right side is normal. What could be the reason for that? i got gtx 560 ti and its connected with dvi, thanks

  • hey sorry for bothering again but can i paly an xbox/ps3 game with hdmi and with 120hz display;or the motion tha the bluray movies have with the hdmi cable or dvi cable in 120hz? thanks and good unboxing

  • @DARTHVIUS im going to assume that xbox and ps3 dont run in 120hz, simply because HDMI doesnt have the bandwidth for 120hz. hence why HDMI isnt 3D. but if you was playing your blu ray from your pc (with DVI cable connected) then yes monitor would output in 120hz still. hope this has helped. after having it for a few months ive gotta say its the best monitor ive ever had/seen

  • @AndyThePinoy Thanks bro, enjoy your monitor, im gonna buy it with my eyes close

  • @AndyThePinoy hdmi does do 3d its the best cable better than dvi its just depend on theof the cable you pay for .hdmi can easily do 1080p 3d at 240hz. for example why else would expensive 3d blu ray players use only hdmi.

  • good unboxing and review; but for example if i want to see a bluray movie will the monitor display the movie in 120hz? thanks

  • @DARTHVIUS yes it can do. you can choose the frequency the screen runs at from the control panel, eg. 60, 100 110 and 120hz

  • one more question man.if i connect with a dvi will it be able to play 120hz and 3d?is this going to be the same if i connect with hdmi?

  • will it be able to work if i connect it with both hdmi and dvi?

  • @thekillingjimmy yes, you can select which channel you want to display. like the source button on a TV.

  • wait, you mean that if i connect it using the hdmi port i wont be able to play 3d and also, will it be able to play on 120 hz?

  • why the monitor can't have 3d in the hdmi? why only dvi?

  • @webleotube just the way the cables work. dvi is capable of 120hz , as opposed to hdmi. however hdmi 1.4 is supposed to have 3d capabilites, whether it works with this monitor - i cant say.

  • Good stuff, thanks for the vid.

  • Does it ony work with nvidia or ATI too ?

  • @sodia1 this monitor is Nvidia 3D vision ready. 3D Vision is designed to work only with NVIDIA geforce graphics chips.

  • @AndyThePinoy do you know any monitors except the viewsonic that supports ATI ?

  • @sodia1 can't say i do theres not that many to choose from right now. i highly recommend a Nvidia GPU - more and more new games will be comming out with the nvidia 3d compatibility. and we've got a good line up of releases in the next few months.

  • @AndyThePinoy I'm currently running an xfx hd6870 so I can't use the 3D feature anyway, it's the 120hz I'm interested in. It's supposed to look immense for gaming..

  • @hardballcarl why not? isn't the card capable of 3d? :/

  • @pakjai yes it is but these monitors are only 3D compatible with Nvidia GPU's, you need to buy the Nvidia 3D kit which has the 3D glasses and transmitter.

  • @hardballcarl Wow...that's a shame, hate how monitors can be card specific these days. Thanks for clarifying that with me. =)

  • @andythepinoy sounds good, have u had the 3D running yet?

  • @hardballcarl not yet, ive read reviews n shit and people that have tried the 3D say that you wont look back from it. looking at the NVIDIA website some games will look better in 3D than others; theres a long list of games that they recommend for 3D viewing.

  • @TheFedility it has the potential to be very bright on the default settings, i turned down the brightness as I wasn't comfortable with the default setting; full brightness.

  • Nice vid, what's this monitor like for gaming??

  • @hardballcarl im not a huge gamer but from what ive tried - alien swarm. the screen has the best resolution, it has lots of variables such as brightness, contrast, gamma, colour balance that can be changed to how we like, being a 23" screen i would say it makes a suitable monitor for gaming. 3D gaming on the monitor will be even more awesome.

  • As far as I know this monitor has no speakers so using hdmi is useless unless you want the lights at the bottom to work I guess. Is this right?

  • @fastfuse01 correct, it has no speakers. and yes if you want the lights (which not many people do) then use the hdmi cable. the only differences between the dvi and hdmi are that with hdmi you can use the audio jack slot on the side, but dvi supports 3D.

  • thank you so much! getting mine tomorrow

  • Finally a unboxing / review showing the details of the monitor. Thumps up! I'm waiting for mine to be delivered... :)

  • u can transfer audio trough dvi ;D i use an dvi to hdmi adapotr dvin in ma card and it transfer audio to the tv ;D and with an hdmi to dvi adaptor i can transfer audio to the monitor of my dead ;D

    wit build in speaker

  • @R3n3s0nyk1ll i havent tried the adapter but thanks for the info. i tried with just the DVI cable but no audio came out the monitor :/ was a little disappointing.

  • Under 3D mode will those normal cinema grade glasses work? or still need to get the Nvidia 3D Kit in order for it to work?

  • @Kikasa23 although i have never tried myself i dont they do work. Becuase cinema 3D is different in that 2 different images are projected but monitors are constantly refreshing; switching between each eye.

  • So for 3d it uses a dual link dvi cable? Does this mean I need two DVI ports on my graphics card?

  • @olivierhacking correct - it uses a dual link dvi, the monitor came with a dual link dvi cable - it only requires one dvi port on my graphics card.
