@xmeatball2x he didnt "upgrade" to anything. Subaru isnt in the WRC which is what he wanted to so he had to drive something. I'm sure Ford paid him a pretty penny to join their team. Yea sucks its a ford but oh well. Hopefully i'll be his neighbor come Sno* Drift 2011 next weekend :-)

Well I meant technology in the making.

Like aluminium block, differently plated cylinders(plasma), plated pistons, electronic oil pumps(bmw's most stupid invention)

The normal iron cylinder sleeves, and wiseco pistons did the job in early 90's, my bmw525i is still running at 300 000km and needs only small repairs if breaks down. Just new pistons and cylinder boring.. No electroplating and O.E.M pistons :)

I personally prefer the STi/WRX myself. Especially this model that's in the video as it's purely gorgeous.

However, I will not be bias just because of that (unlike some of the comments I see here). Fact is, In EVERY comparison test the Evo wins as it's a bit more performance oriented. Yea it sucks, but it's true.

While Evo might a bit more technologically advance, the STi also has a ton of technology so I have no idea what you're talking about. The center electronic differential is one of the most technological advance pieces. Controls power to the front and rear wheels together with the electronic stability control. Its connected to your settings when you decide on what type of surface your drive on (even without your input it's working for ideal performance).

Simple? I think not.
