pingupenguin-i reccomend that you try drawing your own shapes. At first, it's terribly hard to get used to, if you have a mouse, but after a while, you get better at it. Though rectangles and circles are very helpful too :D Good job for your very first time, though.
to put powerpoints on youtube, at least, with a mac computer, go to file, save as, then on the save menu, save it as "JPEG" A folder will appear on your desktop with the title of your animation. In that folder are JPEGs of all your slides. If you have iMovie, i just move the JPEGS to iphoto, then to imovie.
this was a fairly good animation for a first, mine was like, horrible bc i was 10 at the time, but 5 yrs later, I believe mine have went better, but good luck with your future ones, powerpoint is fun :D
not bad at all, here some tips though, do the drawings in paint then paste them in, powerpoint drawing tools are RUBBISH. also use custom animation wherever possible instead of frames, so much quicker and looks better.
I animate totally with powerpoint, I believe you are a powerpoint master if you use only powerpoint, check my vids out for examples, most of my newer ones are the ones I really made recently, the other ones are rubbish, you need patience to make amazing picture in powerpoint, I believe

Just a suggestion - next time put an auto transition time, so you don't have to click.
Also, I don't know what you people are talking about, but PowerPoint drawing tools are AMAZING when you know how to use them correctly.
