The only person who made the republic work is Henry Ford's version of POSITIVE CAPITALISM that gives an incentives to invest and work hard and keeps one's fruits of one's own labor while spreading the wealth when Henry Ford dispersed a calculated portion of his labor savings to turn his workers into consumers of the fruits of their own labor also, thus creating the nucleus of a middle class that in turn is repeated throughout the US w/c created the US major middle class w/c is 90% of the people.
Too long winded! The difference between a Democracy is one vote VS a Republic which is three votes. The electoral, jury vote & grand jury vote. Representative government works no better than a democracy.
In a democracy, the majority make the rules that control you, and in a representative government, a few rich powerful men make the rules that control you.
No, its a democratic republic, A republic cannot exist without the very limited form of democratic system, the people create a firm upheld law that cannot be revoked by later generations, an incorruptible rule or set of rules. So a republic is the rule of the law balanced between and restricting the rule of the people. The public can make decisions but not in extremes. Democracy purely however is unstable and history has shown it leads to Oligarchy and tyranny by either the majority or elite.
@davedavedaveannoy1 We are a Constitutional Republic that uses Democratic processes. We are a government of laws all leaders we vote for are restricted in power by the constitution in order to avoid a Oligarchy. Democracy is mob rule
@davedavedaveannoy1 ~ There's nothing democratic about it. Either way we vote, we get expansion of government's powers and diminished rights and freedom. It was designed that way by the elitist, Masonic founding fathers, who knew they couldn't control a democracy. So they gave us a republic that they could control, but gave us an inkling of democracy: the vote. The republic is why we're in this mess today. There's never been a democracy on Earth, yet.
@davedavedaveannoy1 Okay, my original views of you as an intelligent and reasonable person with knowledge of actual politics is shattered. @stopdemockery Mob rule will be quite impossible from within an actual democracy, because we all want the American dream and the right to keep it
I think this is a naive statement there will always be a ruling class in human nature, No matter what we may want in the form of freedom in this world there will always be the need for someone to manage it and protect it.
Anyone who claims that democracy exists is either stupid or in league with the Zionist banksters who manufacture all our common problems to sell us their solutions.
When democracy finally happens, each time we express our collective will, it will automatically materialize into our collective reality. That's what the banksters don't want us to know. Genuine democracy will be both the banksters' and politicians' worst nightmare and Our slavation from debt slavery in their matrix of lies.
The distinction between republic & democracy is spurious. No one is calling for mob rule in the name of democracy. And even "industrial democracy" would be based on elected representatives. This whole argument is just a clever way to depict the majority of voters as lazy, undisciplined, impulsive freeloaders, while the elites are supposed to be rational, respectible, upstanding citizens... yeh right.
@prschuster ~ Just more elitist propaganda to vilify democracy ~ their worst nightmare. They rightfully fear our justice. The world's Zionist illegal-owners are truly Mankind's only real threat and Humanity's only declared enemy. They're traitors to Humanity. We must get their genes out of the gene pool and divide up their wealth (most everything of value on Earth) among their victims: Mankind. That should jump start the economy.
@stopdemockery Democracy always becomes the rule of the manipulative ruling elite. Law limits individuals from gaining absolute power like what you see in other countries that had democracies that became Anarchies and eventually Oligarchies in order to save what they had.
@Richdanahuff ~ There has never been a democracy. No government defines the true will of its people about all the issues that affects them, then enacts their will into law. None. Never happened. What we have is demockery: government that pretends to be a democracy, but only serves the elite. Our will has never been expressed. It's always been repressed, because the Zionists who illegally rule us don't care what we think.
@stopdemockery True, I don't think there will ever be a government that will restrict the ruling elite, there has always been people who will find a way to gain power and authority
@stopdemockery However a democracy by definition and intent is the rule of the majority, there never can or ever will be a government that will serve the true will of a country with 300 million individuals. This lack of knowledge of politics is what makes the U.S. a mockery especially considering how well we have it. The Constitution is based on our basic human rights but even in a republic the manipulative elite have found a way to creat law that benefits them.
@stopdemockery Even Communist/Socialist Governments are not the will of the people. Take for example our Democrats/Liberals they see themselves as the intellectual elite and want to take a Paternalistic role of deciding whats best for all of us. In Russia their was still a ruling class and a working class even after the revolution the difference was that the ruling class were not by birth anymore they were selected by the intellectual elitest few.
@stopdemockery In most Communist styled countries everytime a natural leader or influential person who were not in favor of the party line arose they were removed generally from society by violence, imprisonment and death. This is where people like Obama who thinks our Constitutional law is useless are taking us, leaders like this use rhetoric to explain to american citizens why he took steps for the greater good though it harmed a few the greater good was served.

so we end up with this ridiculous, nanny style of goverment, with all the people singing about the power of democracy, and spending theyr time thinking of all the miniscule details of our lives they think they should control with theyr glorious democracy...im telling you people, every generation has to protect theyr rights, cuz if you do nothing, the hoards of dipshits will gladly take you over... it takes caring.. it takes balls...it takes a little damn effort and sometimes blood.. but we must
@longfootbuddy So you believe that 60% of the democratically elected representatives have agreed to strip you of your rights & cook you, therefor you must spill blood to end democracy?
@Fuctmentality stripping of rights, obviously...our rights have and are continuing to be stripped, and its not because the majority are libertarians, theyr not...the majority are tyrannical bafoons, that dont give a shit about liberty or freedom of the individual.. the majority wants socialism, and thats why we are heading in the direction we are, with bloated, oppressive government instead of the other direction, which is liberty..now, if democratic cannibals decide they want to cook you......
@Fuctmentality you realize the loss of liberty is slavery, right? ..hey, if you think its irrational to spill blood to protect your liberty, by all means, dont...but dont assume the rest of us are so willing to lose our freedom, just because you and the majority have decided so...you trully have a fuctmentality
@longfootbuddy No just that you give the exact same justification to destroying democracy as the nazis & of course you wish to destroy democracy just as the NAZIs
@Fuctmentality democracy is a terrible form of deciding things when you have a nation of idiots like yourself...god knows what kind of nonsense youll impose on us if your allowed to continue
@Fuctmentality im done replying to you, you just want to twist things around cuz you hate the truth..your the one that wants control over people, not me.. your the nazi, not me.. your name says it all
@longfootbuddy Yeah I never called you Aa Nazi, just stated you're using the same argument to destroy democracy (& also share the same desire to destroy democracy) as the Nazis.
@Fuctmentality a better thing to say is that the majority of germans in a demacracy blaimed jews for there financeal problems, so with demacracy it became mob rule, hitler and the nazis did the same and snatched power with the brown shirts, turning it into a dictatorship/olavarcy. in a republic the mob would have been stopped and the accused jews would be at trial where not major rule but law of every personwould decide the fate of the jew and not the law of the dictator either
our goverment has never been perfect.. the union was formed to have a loose control and order between the individual states.. weve let it get out of control clearly..it seems over the years, people have gotten so used to the federal goverment exerting power over the states, theyve forgotten that theyr independent states! and now the states themselves and more local levels of goverment have all taken theyr lead from the fed! so we have a huge cluster**** of overbearing goverment up our butts
most americans seem to think that we are a democracy obviously.. and any goverment can be changed at any time, if the people allow it to be changed...sensable and reasonable people know that democracy is not a good form of goverment...to be free, you must have laws that garentee and protect individual rights, and good sensable laws...remember, some of the founding fathers wanted a clone of britain.. reason won out..its our duty to protect our rights..or the wolves will take it over once again

We are NOT a democracy. Never have been never will be. The land will be destroyed before that happens. The country will split up and no longer be America before it surrenders to being a democracy.
@rmcc0002 No you are wrong because we still have our rights to free speech, religion, bare arms, no one can move me out of my house to be used for the military. I have the right to go to court for any reason. I'm innocent until proven guilty in this country. Anything that happens in this country can be repealed any ways. So the whole universal health care can be turned back. We have never been a democracy we are a Republic still governed by (Law).
tyranny is when a government has absolute power, especially when exercised unjustly or cruelly...it has also been described as dominance through threat of punishment and violence especially when not restricted by a constitution.
The restrictions placed on the federal government by the constitution have been undermined/over ruled by the supreme court or just plain ignored by the feds in their drive for power. And it's only going to get worse.
@hannigan06 Re-read the Constitution. Both parties vote for hundreds of un-constitutional laws (unlawful-laws) into existence every year. We haven't been under the what our founders considered to be "rule of law" for over 150 years. As predicted..."This government cannot last...It will not last a century. We can only get rid of its oppression by a most violent and bloody struggle." Patrick Henry Enter the civil war and the abolition of freedom. Slaves were only granted a different master.
@TruckinMike1965 ~ Yes. And, sovereign state citizens were deceptively converted, by the same amendment, into "U. S. citizens" holding only the liberties granted to them by the Congressional elites: not Our inalienable rights under the Constitution. Only true democracy or divine intervention can save Us from their matrix of lies and debt slavery. And, Earth's first and only system of real democracy exists now at MajorityVoice.
Very educational. (socialism is not the bad thing, you're right, but it should be Churches and small groups of people taking care of minor forms of socialism. Government never stays pure, so long as the churches stand, at least, close to what they teach, it is not right for people to be forced into socialism. It's a commitment that all should do their part if they take from it. If you don't all commit, any associated lose by joining it...did I just ramble?)
Democracy can lead to socialism. For example, a Socialist will present him/herself to a large group of people and convince them about the current troubles, the poor, how the wealthy is taking everything to themselves and it should be corrected by taking their wealth and spread it to the "needy", etc. thus can lead the majority to agree with the Socialist. If a Socialist can convince the majority on one thing, it can convince the majority with his/her agenda.
oh one other thing, replace Socialism with Communism, Nazism, Fascism, and any other form of Oligarchy (rule by a few). and that's how oppressive regimes started.
You said: "a Socialist will present him/herself to a large group of people and convince them about the current troubles, the poor, how the wealthy is taking everything to themselves and it should be corrected by taking their wealth and spread it to the "needy", "
and oppress their people with laws that take away freedom and the ability to do anything but conform and spy on their next door neighbors! Too keep the people off base they keep telling the people that they are hated buy others as a means to go too war, and aid the leaders friends in big business buy being at war forever. Just like how the U.S. has been at war ever since the Federal Reserve had been created! Even though we all now it was not rightfully created it was not ratified by the States
Have any of you seen the first few minutes of Escape From L.A., or V for Vendetta those people lived in a Democracy and when things went bad or bad time came, they jumped on the bandwagon with a hatemonger, who said every nasty thing that they thought about other people. As soon as they get into office they get laws changed to keep them in office forever, kind of like what happened in Haiti. these same people drain all of the money out of the Treasury!
"or V for Vendetta those people lived in a Democracy". I'm sorry, I don't remember that; I'll try to watch it again. Anyway, what we have today formally is representative democracy - we choose the people who rule. The substance is not democracy as it is defined in the speech of Pericles to Athenians [government in the interest of the many and not of the few; isn't that the same as republic (public thing) btw] but holigarchy.
Some of the big business have this notion of the second part: if things go well, incomes are theirs; if things go wrong, losses are ours thanks to the state. A kind of socialist capitalism, huh? *LAUGH*
Well, considering the definition of socialist of this person, what we have today, capitalism? I was taught that we have capitalism when I use a sum of money to buy labour to be able to produce/sell goods and/or services. If things go well, incomes are mine; if things go wrong, losses are mine too. (to be cont.)
A republic is a form of government in which the head of state is not a monarch[1] and the people (or at least a part of its people)[2] have an impact on its government.[3][4] The word 'republic' is derived from the Latin phrase res publica, which can be translated as "a public affair"
Most f. fathers didn't want democracy: they didn't want government in the interest of the many instead of in the interest of the few. And what they built was not exactly a republic: only a little part of the people living in the country had an impact on government and "public" means "of all the people". In other words, most f. fathers were not that revolutionary.
I disagree with the first thing he says on this video...a socialist, so far as I know, is someone who feels all should be shared by the society...it has nothing to do with who distributes it.

@MelWK they are right, it is the rule of the majority, but most people have forgotten that the U.S. was not created a democracy it was created as a Republic. Everyone took on the word of Democracy when Woodrow Wilson came out and said it in the Early 20' of the 1900's. He is the same guy that caved in and betrayed us into the Federal Reserve! He did a lot of damage to the U.S.
If the U.S. descends into Democracy in time it will be taken over buy a Tyrant all Democracies end in that awful way!
As for democracy as the rule of majority, have a look at what the philosophers de Tocqueville, John S. Mill and Nietzsche said about that. I wouldn't want democracy either if it was simply the rule of majority. If it was simply the rule of majority, the minorities should shut up, which is not what I want.

The US was not created a democracy, that's right. Most f. fathers didn't want it because they have considered the notion of democracy as the rule of the mob coming from the ancient word (have a look at the philosopher Aristotle.

But the notion of democracy has changed since that time) and because they didn't want all the people to have an impact on the governemnt, so they didn't want and didn't build really a republic either.
Wilson wasn't that diiferent from other American Presidents (dem or rep).
Jake you swallowed all the bull they want you to believe. The founding fathers hated the idea of a democracy and considered it a most evil form of government. The idea of a 'democratic republic' is a contridition in terms twisted to make the comman man comfortable with the idea of democracy.
The f. fathers didn't want a democracy because they considered the bad idea of democracy Geeks had - they conisidered it as the rule of the mob - and because they didn't want the people (despite the words used in the Constitution) to rule.

A Republic will remain until too many disputes develop within. Several ways this can happen:
* Immigration of "marginalized" people
* Annexation of "utilized" people
* Atrocities committed by war
These disputes entail economic costs outsourced to government and back to the people via taxes and monetary policy.
Scars these disputes leave on the economic system must be also healed. To do this, a sustainable economic geopolitical system is a must. Unsustainability destroys rule-by-law.

i say if you think that the US is a democracy... pay attention to the pledge of allegence.....thats where wilson made a mistake the pledge says and to the REPUBLIC for which it stand!!
because it is the "dictatorship of the prolatariate": as indeed the soviet leaders were not elected.
"Mobocracy" is not even a word, but it is the kind of thing you would expect to find in a army service manual, seeing that army life is highly hierarchical. People would hardly want to live their normal lives in that kind of form, because that kind of exactness of the army life is in exact opposition of civil liberties and as a state wide policy would come more near to fascism.
/continued) constitution as well as elections. Your election power is distributed in a three fold manner between legislators, jurors and enforces of the law - as Montesquie proposed. If you read anything on the period of the enlightment you will see where the ideas come from, and that republic and democracy are not _opposing_ ideas at all. Why don't these conspirators get a basic education?
As regards to communism, a communistic socialism or dictatorship is by definition not a democracy [...]
Argh. Where should I start. First of all: Democracy as a word and idea comes from ancient greece - not any socialistic manual. All of that is arbitrary and inconsequential - communistic states have been called republics too (Peoples republic of China anyone?) so it's not like democracy as a word has been used together with socialism or communism in any significant way more than the word republic has. The United States is a democratic republic - that means, simply enough, that you have a ...

longfootbuddy 1 year ago
@longfootbuddy So you believe that 60% of the democratically elected representatives have agreed to strip you of your rights & cook you, therefor you must spill blood to end democracy?
Sounds perfectly rational.
Fuctmentality 1 year ago
@Fuctmentality stripping of rights, obviously...our rights have and are continuing to be stripped, and its not because the majority are libertarians, theyr not...the majority are tyrannical bafoons, that dont give a shit about liberty or freedom of the individual.. the majority wants socialism, and thats why we are heading in the direction we are, with bloated, oppressive government instead of the other direction, which is liberty..now, if democratic cannibals decide they want to cook you......
longfootbuddy 1 year ago
@longfootbuddy You do know the closest any one has come to the libertarian ideal was Dickensian England right?
& Again spilling blood to end democracy to insure liberty?
Yep sounds really rational.
Fuctmentality 1 year ago
@Fuctmentality you realize the loss of liberty is slavery, right? ..hey, if you think its irrational to spill blood to protect your liberty, by all means, dont...but dont assume the rest of us are so willing to lose our freedom, just because you and the majority have decided so...you trully have a fuctmentality

@longfootbuddy Yes I get it, you kmust kill to destry democracy to preserve liberty. & again same argument Nazis used.
& I suppose you believe you should be the one to lead the nation?

@Fuctmentality im done replying to you, you just want to twist things around cuz you hate the truth..your the one that wants control over people, not me.. your the nazi, not me.. your name says it all
longfootbuddy 1 year ago
@longfootbuddy Yeah I never called you Aa Nazi, just stated you're using the same argument to destroy democracy (& also share the same desire to destroy democracy) as the Nazis.
Fuctmentality 1 year ago
@Fuctmentality a better thing to say is that the majority of germans in a demacracy blaimed jews for there financeal problems, so with demacracy it became mob rule, hitler and the nazis did the same and snatched power with the brown shirts, turning it into a dictatorship/olavarcy. in a republic the mob would have been stopped and the accused jews would be at trial where not major rule but law of every personwould decide the fate of the jew and not the law of the dictator either
patriotfreedomfigher 1 year ago
@patriotfreedomfigher Dummkopf, the Nazis took power from the Weimar Republic.
So how did having a republic stop the Nazis from destroying democracy?
Or is it you just hate democracy (for the same reason as the Nazis) & wish to destroy it arshloch?
Fuctmentality 1 year ago
our goverment has never been perfect.. the union was formed to have a loose control and order between the individual states.. weve let it get out of control clearly..it seems over the years, people have gotten so used to the federal goverment exerting power over the states, theyve forgotten that theyr independent states! and now the states themselves and more local levels of goverment have all taken theyr lead from the fed! so we have a huge cluster**** of overbearing goverment up our butts
longfootbuddy 1 year ago
most americans seem to think that we are a democracy obviously.. and any goverment can be changed at any time, if the people allow it to be changed...sensable and reasonable people know that democracy is not a good form of goverment...to be free, you must have laws that garentee and protect individual rights, and good sensable laws...remember, some of the founding fathers wanted a clone of britain.. reason won out..its our duty to protect our rights..or the wolves will take it over once again

@hannigan06 No, we are managed by force. The government doesn't operate under the rule of law, it operates under the rule of force.
rmcc0002 1 year ago 9
@rmcc0002 No you are wrong because we still have our rights to free speech, religion, bare arms, no one can move me out of my house to be used for the military. I have the right to go to court for any reason. I'm innocent until proven guilty in this country. Anything that happens in this country can be repealed any ways. So the whole universal health care can be turned back. We have never been a democracy we are a Republic still governed by (Law).
hannigan06 1 year ago
@hannigan06
you assume that the laws are just.
tyranny is when a government has absolute power, especially when exercised unjustly or cruelly...it has also been described as dominance through threat of punishment and violence especially when not restricted by a constitution.
The restrictions placed on the federal government by the constitution have been undermined/over ruled by the supreme court or just plain ignored by the feds in their drive for power. And it's only going to get worse.
lITheEmissarylI 1 year ago
@hannigan06 can a case law be considered a law? I'd call it uncontrolled, randomly developing mob rule.
coturnix19 1 year ago
@hannigan06 The law says that the Federal govt cannot tax us on our labor, but I guess that slipped by the Republic you speak of.
ouluvme2 1 year ago

ArandurKing909 2 years ago
I'm a bit confused, is he saying that democracy is socialism?
Paddis92 2 years ago
Democracy can lead to socialism. For example, a Socialist will present him/herself to a large group of people and convince them about the current troubles, the poor, how the wealthy is taking everything to themselves and it should be corrected by taking their wealth and spread it to the "needy", etc. thus can lead the majority to agree with the Socialist. If a Socialist can convince the majority on one thing, it can convince the majority with his/her agenda.
izzy82 2 years ago
oh one other thing, replace Socialism with Communism, Nazism, Fascism, and any other form of Oligarchy (rule by a few). and that's how oppressive regimes started.

Too keep the people off base they keep telling the people that they are hated buy others as a means to go too war, and aid the leaders friends in big business buy being at war forever. Just like how the U.S. has been at war ever since the Federal Reserve had been created! Even though we all now it was not rightfully created it was not ratified by the States
proverb311031 2 years ago
Have any of you seen the first few minutes of Escape From L.A., or V for Vendetta those people lived in a Democracy and when things went bad or bad time came, they jumped on the bandwagon with a hatemonger, who said every nasty thing that they thought about other people. As soon as they get into office they get laws changed to keep them in office forever, kind of like what happened in Haiti. these same people drain all of the money out of the Treasury!
proverb311031 2 years ago
"or V for Vendetta those people lived in a Democracy". I'm sorry, I don't remember that; I'll try to watch it again. Anyway, what we have today formally is representative democracy - we choose the people who rule. The substance is not democracy as it is defined in the speech of Pericles to Athenians [government in the interest of the many and not of the few; isn't that the same as republic (public thing) btw] but holigarchy.
MelWK 2 years ago
Some of the big business have this notion of the second part: if things go well, incomes are theirs; if things go wrong, losses are ours thanks to the state. A kind of socialist capitalism, huh? *LAUGH*
MelWK 2 years ago
Well, considering the definition of socialist of this person, what we have today, capitalism? I was taught that we have capitalism when I use a sum of money to buy labour to be able to produce/sell goods and/or services. If things go well, incomes are mine; if things go wrong, losses are mine too. (to be cont.)

MelWK 2 years ago
@MelWK
A republic is a form of government in which the head of state is not a monarch[1] and the people (or at least a part of its people)[2] have an impact on its government.[3][4] The word 'republic' is derived from the Latin phrase res publica, which can be translated as "a public affair"

"and the people (or at least a part of its people)[2] have an impact on its government.". Does that have anything to do with democracy?
MelWK 2 years ago
Most f. fathers didn't want democracy: they didn't want government in the interest of the many instead of in the interest of the few. And what they built was not exactly a republic: only a little part of the people living in the country had an impact on government and "public" means "of all the people". In other words, most f. fathers were not that revolutionary.

@Xemnashizzo they are free, i make no Pledge of Allegiance to anything! If Pledge of Allegiance the State owns you!
proverb311031 2 years ago
I disagree with the first thing he says on this video...a socialist, so far as I know, is someone who feels all should be shared by the society...it has nothing to do with who distributes it.

@MelWK they are right, it is the rule of the majority, but most people have forgotten that the U.S. was not created a democracy it was created as a Republic. Everyone took on the word of Democracy when Woodrow Wilson came out and said it in the Early 20' of the 1900's. He is the same guy that caved in and betrayed us into the Federal Reserve! He did a lot of damage to the U.S.
If the U.S. descends into Democracy in time it will be taken over buy a Tyrant all Democracies end in that awful way!
proverb311031 2 years ago

MelWK 2 years ago
Jake you swallowed all the bull they want you to believe. The founding fathers hated the idea of a democracy and considered it a most evil form of government. The idea of a 'democratic republic' is a contridition in terms twisted to make the comman man comfortable with the idea of democracy.
johnphoenix20009 2 years ago
The f. fathers didn't want a democracy because they considered the bad idea of democracy Geeks had - they conisidered it as the rule of the mob - and because they didn't want the people (despite the words used in the Constitution) to rule.

A Republic will remain until too many disputes develop within. Several ways this can happen:
* Immigration of "marginalized" people
* Annexation of "utilized" people
* Atrocities committed by war
These disputes entail economic costs outsourced to government and back to the people via taxes and monetary policy.
Scars these disputes leave on the economic system must be also healed. To do this, a sustainable economic geopolitical system is a must. Unsustainability destroys rule-by-law.

because it is the "dictatorship of the prolatariate": as indeed the soviet leaders were not elected.

Jakepitkis 3 years ago
