I tried to smoke at least four times. Twice I lasted close to one year. The third time a few months and the last time, last year, I lasted for one month, and back again.
It's true I felt better, my blood pressure went down, my sugar level down to 89 when it was about 115-119 most of the time.
It got to be a way to quit!. I just don't know how. Bupropion made me smoke even more.
It is never too late. Once you quit your lungs start to repair themselves. I have read from reputable medical sources that within 6 years much of the damage will be fixed.
I don't have any magic formulas for how to quit smoking. To quit drinking I used the AA approach - don't try stopping forever, just stop from having one drink - the next one.
Since smoking is a physical addiction, once you get through a few days it will get easier. Your body will adjust. Drinking lots of water may help.
The best way to get rid of drugs is by legalizing them and taxing them 5000%. trust me.
