well there were sum rumors sayin that Blackberyy will put out an identicle updated version of the Storm. i have had the stom since the day it hit stores an im lookin forward to an updated version
it has bugs cus its the first full touch screen blackberry phone my friend has this phone and he loves it it has never bugges up or frezes and the web browsing is fast for him
I actually met up with a friend at the bar last week and realized that he had the Storm. Being that the OTA should've solved all the buggy/sluggish issues, I gave it a spin. I'm not sure if he had multiple apps opened, but the phone was still a dog as far as speed goes. Great content and style, but was far from acceptable. His phone froze twice in that sitting and he was unable to receive calls (calls went straight to voicemail). I guess too many apps opened, but should still get calls :|

I've gotten more familiar with it, and heard more things about it....I heard that you can only be touching one part of the screen at a time! My guess is that would make it very hard to type (well, fast-medium speed)

The phone's been out for 2 months now and the OS has been updated. It works fantastic now. Also the Storms in the store are played with so much. People open the apps and don't close them. Really like the clickscreen. Better than vibrations or sound effects. Syncs to itunes. Best phone I ever had. Iphone's cool too but remember it's had over 2 years out in the market to get that way.
I loved this video! I like how you got the lil icon that poped up in the corner! But I cant believe that how buggy it was, who would of thought Blackberry would make a with a bad impressions, well first time for everything you know!

I'm waiting until Summer to make my next phone move. I've heard that there has already been 2 firmware version updates out so far for the Storm. Looks like it should be pretty stable now. :)
probably becuz all the memory from the ppl that were at the store b4...that is what the verizon employee and my friend told me and she actually has it now and it is very promising and she has quite a bit of her memory already used up from itunes and such so im not actually she...but i already bought it and im getting it the 15th so i hope it isnt a failure...find out soon
Appreciate your review. I am in the real estate business and was hoping the Blackberry Storm was going to be my Verizon alternative to the iPhone but I will be waiting until the bugs are sorted out. I am confident that RIM will sort it out as you mentioned and maybe as soon as 30 to 60 days. Thanks again!
well with the storm a restart is not considered power on/power off i restart is when you take out the battery then put it back in
this will help your phone be faster
also run the memory clean function in security options
