  • hey when you got the renthal bars did u have to buy bigger clapms or did stock fit

  • @filmah17 For thos style bars I have you would. Not all Renthal bars need the larger clamp though.

  • @Johnnysshop lol i watched the video all the way after i posted this comment and found the answer thanks anyway tho

  • I'm 5'6 1/2 and about 120 pounds, ive been riding for about 7 years now. I'm 13 year sold and I ride and rm85 I' am going to be getting an upgrade in the summer. Do you think this would be good for me? Thanks. Please reply I would appreciate it.

  • @clearviewriders You're about the size of Blake Baggot so you should be okay.

  • its so useless to buy a 2012 yz250f because they are still carberator so your better off getting a 2006-08 yz250f if your going to get one

  • @hondaman728 True..

  • what is that Face Lift Unlimited graphics kit could i can not find it??? please reply

  • @CanZamZOutlanderZxmr It's the Facelift Unlimited TS1 kit. The 2012 kits are a different color, a lot of yellow in them I believe.

  • @djsm1th Haven't ridden it hard enough to really say for sure. They have been fine so far for what I've done. They are already laced..

  • @Johnnysshop Thanks im really looking for a pair for my 250f.. I alway like to watch your videos as you know i try to always comment asking my questions and you always reply with a good hoenst answer!

  • hey johnny do those carbon guards wear alot over time?

  • @dirtrox72 Not too bad. They do become dull but that's about it

  • im looking at the same bike. The guy is asking $1000.00 for it in great running condition. Do you think its a good deal? The guy just shimmed the valves and put a new chain in the engine and has a full titanium pro circuit exhaust along with other goodies., The plastic needs to be replaced along with tires.

  • @corporal43 Sounds like a good deal to me. In Ohio it's hard to find a running one under 1500

  • why spend so much money on an old bike man

  • @sean2stroke Wanted a steel frame, I've got $2500 in it. It's a new bike, better than spending 6-7k on one..

  • Beautiful bike.

  • @MotoLife77 Thanks!

  • What widths are your front and back rim? looks like a great bike. I really enjoy your vids ( i'm a subscriber)

  • @mrfunny3454 Thanks! Acually same size as stock (can't remember what that is off the top of my head)

  • What website did you get these graphics from and are they still available? I found the ts1 graphics from FLU but i dont really like them. I am thinking about buying new plastics and graphics for my YZ and these are really cool. And btw i cant wait to see how you rebuild your "new" yz.

  • @ErHerrmann495 I got them new off eBay. They still have the same style but they have some yellow in them. I'd just keep watching to see if a set of these pop up. I can't wait to get started on the YZ! Hopefully I'll be able to score some of these graphics for that.

  • when are you goin to have a ride video????

  • @TheDirtrider96 Not sure. Didn't really get to ride at all this past year.

  • Don't like the Yoshimura to much, I prefer LeoVince V6

  • How are those frame guards holding up? i have a 05 yz250f and the frame is showing signs of wear and i want to cover up where the paint is wore off.

  • @zako56 I haven't ridden it much but so far no wear at all.

  • i've been wanting to know for over a month... are you gonna race this, trail ride, or what??

  • @motovance Trial ride. These days I like building more than riding. Wife, kids, etc.. Can't afford to break a bone...

  • I plan to get one but im worried im too small im 5'8 and 140 pounds you think i would be ok?

  • @ConorSully127 dude your fine! im only a few inches taller and weigh 20 pounds less than you. i have the same exact bike. your good bro

  • im 14 5'8' and like a 130 lbs. could i ride this?

  • @1243wesley Yeah, you're bigger than Blake Baggot.

  • mind me asking how much you spent on this bike?

  • @jackdabiker Around $2500. Too much but better than buying a new bike.

  • how are those tusk rotors?

    thanks

  • @kawirida22 Actually I like them a lot, like the pads also. They seem to really clamp down and don't sqeek at all.

  • yushimure pipe!

  • Dear Sir

Yesterday I did a marathon of all episodes

I want to tell you that I could not feel how the morning came

I felt like I was participating in the project

Too bad that here in Israel is not possible to make such a project without having to sell the house

    Well done, dod

  • @shelaavi Thanks, I really appreciate it! Hopefully a new project soon. Move to the states :)

  • @shelaavi Thanks, I really appreciate it. Hope to have a new project soon. You should move to the states :)

  • Don't you think the yama link is hanging s little low?

  • @Desrocher1 No, that's normal.

  • @Desrocher1 No, it's normal

  • @Johnnysshop where did u get the yamalink from?

  • Comment removed

  • youve done a great job man! it looks so much better, and probably runs better too lol

  • @m0t0cr0ss17 Yeah, runs a tad better. LOL

  • @konastinky1000 2003

  • how much did all of this cost you including the bike?

  • @trophyhunter147 Around $2500

  • @Johnnysshop man thats one wicked YZF lol ive always been a honda kind of guy but YZFs clean up really nice great job i havent checked out all of your videos yet but do you have any videos of installing a seat cover.?

  • I love the transofrmation of your YZ250F!! And with the Radiator guards, go on Flatland Racing... I had a set of Devol Radiator guards on my 02 wr250f, and my friend had a set of Flatland radiator guards on his yz450f. Once it took a look at his I bought myself a set and have been buying them for my bikes ever since. It's 1 piece, and protects the side and front of the radiator and doesn't have much hardware, just a couple bolts. They hold up great too

  • @WaWagasman Thanks! I was going to go with the Flatland guards and wished I would have. I saw a set of black ones and really wanted them. I will for sure next time.

  • ok Now start the bitch !

  • @Usuallama817 LOL

  • sick as hell man

  • @DandMAirsoftMI Thanks!

  • @Johnnysshop NO PROMBLEM

  • Where did you get all the carbon covers from? Deff not overkill I like the black look it goes with the wheels and what not. Also about how much would you say you put into it as far as cosmetics, awesome job!

  • @Ballersonabudget Thanks, I tried not to do too much. I actually got most of it from eBay. Searched for weeks for the good deals. I think I may have gotten the rear brake cover from Motosport but that was about it.

  • That's an awesome bike

  • @jlsquash Thanks!

  • hey, i have a yz250f 03 as well , just wondering why your front brake line just comes straight down and into the caliper..

mine comes down the front of the on the fork and has this little plastic guard that is bolted on the nut part for the wheel, and the line goes in that little groove part under the nut for the wheel.. haha its hard to explain, but i think its more safer the way mine is and looks better.. i can make a video to show you what i mean if you dont get what im saying. (: thanks.. (:

  • @23THUMP19 It originally had that but the little mount was broken off and I never took the time to replace it.

  • i just got a 03 yz250 f and it says its a 03 in the vin # but the dipstick

is in a difernt spot on it i was just wondering if you new anything about that because everything is the same as yours exept the dip stick???

  • @125rideryz Hmm.. not sure. If it was manufactured in late 03 it could be an 04.

  • hey i have a yz 125 and something ive been thinking about is tradeing for a yz250f so what do you think you would do and things to look for on one so any tips would be appriciated

  • @125rideryz Make sure it starts well hot and cold. Find out how many hours, last time vavles where adjusted or changed, along with timing chain.

  • that's a beautiful bike. hope you kept it lol I'm trying to get my bike to look a bit like yours here :P

  • @BIGSHAGGYDOGG Thanks! I have fun. :)

  • this is amazing im gonna do my yz1225 just like this... but did you paint the frame???

  • @james80196 Thanks, go for it! I did paint it with engine paint. I did not want to powder coat for a few reasons.. #1, on this bike the oil runs through the frame and it's almost impossible to keep the sand from blasting out. #2, you can't touch up powder coat :)

  • nice bike i got a 04 yz 250f and theese bikes are rock solid you can throw anything at them

  • @dillonm367 Good to know.

  • ok someone answer me this... i just want answers no sarcasm

    1) what website did you get the graphics kit form

    2) where did you get the rims from

    3) are those new plastics or the origanals

very cool bike man i want to make mine look as cool as yours

  • @Robbeyray LOL. No sacasm

    1) eBay. They are made by Facelift Unlimted. You can get them from retailers as well.

    2) DNA wheels. Also from eBay but you can get them direct.

    3) Plastics are new. OEM though. Aftermarket never seem to fit as well.

    Thanks for watching!

  • JEALOUS

  • @nick26695 Thanks!

  • You need to get a case saver over that chain

  • @oSHOLLIVERo wait sorry i didnt watch the whole video i know every ones gonna call me a dumb ass and say i dont know shit about motors, but im really smart when it comes to engines, i race motocross

  • @oSHOLLIVERo Yeah, it's just a small saver..

  • dude that thing is fine but the before shot, that bike was UGLY

  • @oSHOLLIVERo LOL.. Thanks!

  • where did you get the ZIpTy neutral switch eliminator?

  • @trophyhunter147 From ZipTy direct.

  • would it be ok if i painted my exhaust with VHT gloss black paint????? also how do i take dints out of my pipe

  • @ModernModz2 You could but I wouldn't. The only way I know to remove them is to fill it with water, cap off both ends and stick it in the freezer. The expansion will sometimes remove the dents. Doesn't work everytime though.

  • @NoFearKieranHere Just a cover. They are included with the levers. You could probably contact them and order seperately.

  • How long did it take you to take everything apart? i have a 06 yz125 that i race. but i want to rebuild a old 250f. just seems fun to me

  • @insidelinekrew So long as you don't have to split the bottom end it is pretty easy. I have one of these 2002 on which I am replacing the connecting rod and that is a pain in the ass!

  • @insidelinekrew With making the vids, it took awhile. If I were just ripping one apart it would take a few hours. 3-4 taking my time.

  • Dude that bike looks super clean, You did a great job on it. Its always good to see people take pride in their bikes.

  • @farfromok3 Thanks!

  • You've done such a ood job on that bike 5 stars definatly lol

  • @woodydasotonman Thanks!

  • Hey I have 2 questions. What does the hot start do? I know stupid question! Haha and how much did it cost for the asv levers?

  • @krazy300exrider when a bikes hot it can be harder to start. it just lets more air into the motor to cool it down i guess. bassicaly it makes it easier to start when hot. and dont feel bad i had to ask him aswell

  • @krazy300exrider Just allows you to start the bike easier when hot. Basically allows more air in the carb. I think I paid around $135 or so.

  • hey man, its time for my bro to get some new tires. Which would you prefer? he rides rocks, sand, dirt, gravel and pretty much everything else. his old tires chipped to hell. Got any idea on a good tire?

  • @ML424wr Thanks!

  • WOW what a transformation Very GOOD job you did on that bike. And how long did it take you to do it?

  • @IWModerator Thanks! I few months. Basically waiting on parts and shooting the vids. If I had everything, didn't have to shoot vids probably a week.
