I pretty much stopped watching power rangers after kim left. (She was my favorite and that was the 1 i pretended to be.) I was so heartbroken after more than half of the original cast left. I am now just getting to these episodes and Im glad i got to check them out. These other rangers aren;t half bad. and i'm happy that they FINALLY gave the yellow ranger a skirt!!!
@slickricklj Thanks for your response I must admit being a longtime PR fan since the beginning some rangers do not get the credit they truly deserved and it make me mad. Especially that I am a yellow ranger fan.

I just got finished watching Zeo and I fully understand why I liked her character so much. Tanya embodied much more than a tough fighter, but she was also mature and wize, yet naive and sophisticated. Personality wise, she was more developed than Aisha and Trini IMO.

Everyone always compare Tanya to Aisha and vice versa. In the end, I would pick Tanya, she seemed more down to Earth, I mean she came from an African tribe to America over night to become a ranger and she learned pretty fast! Aisha had a fun personality n all, but Tanya was a bit better, especially during the Turbo season!
Personally i loved Tanya from the minute she made her first appearance. You can't compare Aisha and Tanya together because they're both different characters. Aisha had a valley girl mentality and Tanya had a real mentality. I also take the "Ghetto" comment a little offensive because she wasn't being ghetto at all. Not all black girls act preppy. Just like white girls. Not all white girls act the same either. Each girl brought something new to the plate. Also I thought Tanya was a better fighter.
Well said. I don't even think Tanya was necessarily ghetto. Using slang doesn't equal ghetto. I thought Tanya was a very mature and sophisticated young woman. She seemed a bit tougher than Aisha, it's something about her personality that makes me like her just a lil bit more than Aisha. As far as fighting, Tanya and Aisha both put on a mean face, but I think Tanya came off more slightly more agressive. Like she want to box someone's lights out.
id hafta disagree. karan was by far the more talented actress, but compared to the kids they had on the show in later series, nakia held her own well enough. tanya seemed to have more of a ghetto edge, which wasnt a bad change of pace. i noticed that a lot in the turbo movie. the way she says "its morphin time" here had me rotfl. she might as well have said "ima bust a cap in yo ass"

Nakia ended up being a much better Ranger than Karan. Her acting and unmorphed fighting were second only to Amy Jo!

Karen Ashley did not stay for Power Rangers: Zeo. So, Nakia Burrise became the new yellow ranger.
