He means his ego dyes a little bit each time he dives into his own garbage and does what is uncomfortable for him (good instead of selfish things is hard for him). His ego fights harder the more good he does. The more he evolves, the ego begs to be fed just a little bit. He's saying NO. Not any more. I won't be a slave to my ego. He won't feed the ego. They took out the winning slot machine clip when he slides his fingers? Now it just looks like he's sliding his fingers. It didnt make sense anyway.

This is a film that requires more than one viewing to really see what it's all about.

People expecting the same kind of films Guy Ritchie did in the past will most likely hate it.

Only thing I'd say is Ray Liotta is a great actor but it seems he doesn't understand his character and I think he did a crap job.

I give Guy Ritchie props for attempting to direct a film like this.

P.S. - See the alternate ending if you can on UK DVD. It's pretty cool.
