I've heard the guy who invented the Fox Trax glow puck went to my high school. (University Liggett)

According to Wikipedia, this was the last game to use it. But I thought Fox ditched it before either Red Wings cup run.

It was nice to see how fast a shot was and would be invaluable to determine if the puck crossed the line under a pile of bodies but it shouldn't have been used for the main game camera during live action.

I don't mind the glow puck. I think the blue and red vapor trails when the puck is shot are funny. I liked how FOX showed how fast a shot on goal was. I wished NBC did that. Do you have any clips of the Fox Bots that come out after a goal is scored? Those were great.

@WingsFights how could you like the glow puck its hockey sacrilege!!!! Canadians made so much fun of it they stop using it.. that and it was expensive. :) there was a commercial in canada making fun of it called sacrilege moments in canada.
