transformed.i saw him first in the adirondack mountains back in the late 80's...

He came to my school for a reading back in September, it was amazing. I would love to see him again sometime, although my guess is it wouldn't be a group of 30 people again if I got that chance, probably more like the size of the group in this video.

I like this second Poem, I wasnt sure about it as he told it, but Im so glad I listened all the way through, it was so funny "The Kwelia Birds" Thats why you always give the Poem or Poet a chance. It can be so worth it. Nice one. I do like the first one but the second one was my favourate.

Thanks so much for posting this. Hope a full Lamkin video is toward the top of your priorities list, particularly including the "Jump, Mama" jumprope poem and others from the high-school morning session. Lamkin is harder to find videos of than some of the others, yet is best appreciated in performance, so I'll keep fingers crossed. Thanks for creating this channel -- and the festival.
