Dublin has to be the most boring and morbid town in the world and people who live there just dont know life or there own self worth its like a prison because almost every bar and food store has arrogant polish security gaurds on them and everyone judges you for simple things like the way you dress act behave walk and talk its SICK get the fuck out and live your life . You cannot express your true self in Dublin because the culture is so extremely different to everywhere.
I'm confused! The narrator says that the Derry protestants are the descendents of Scottish settlers. However, they are celebrating the destruction of the Scottish House of Stuart. The Scottish Highlanders attempted to restore the Stuarts twice, in 1715 and 1745 but were defeated. The defeat in 45 led to Highland dress being banned. Why are these descendents of Scottish Lowlanders celebrating the destruction of Highland culture but yet appropriate Highland costume and instruments to do so?

Lowland Scots had experienced the Reformation of Calvinism & John Knox, and for religious reasons, not ethnic reasons, opposed Catholicism or Popery as they saw it!
The Highlanders still supported the Catholic House of Stewart, of james 2, and that's why they were called the "Jacobites", the supporters of James Stewart!
