  • When would you use the elf pimple fighting powder? I have dry skin and I can't stand dry flakey areas on my face. When would it be the best time to apply that powder? How do I fix the flakey dry spots?

  • @DogsRule765 I guess night time would be the best time so it wouldn't flake throughout the day....but if your skin is super dry maybe it's not the best product for you because I agree, dry skin sucks!!

  • Hi hon, how is your brother doing in Korea? Is he liking it?

  • @cheriatthe2ndhalf Thanks for asking!! He is doing awesome, he's met so many new people (other english teachers from all over the place, and also korean teachers as well). It seems like he's out all the time! Which is good...keeping busy will leave less time to feel home sick! The actual job is going well too, he's great with kids so I knew he wouldn't have a problem, he's just a big kid himself so he can relate pretty well haha :)

  • Hiya Pretty. What are you wearing on your eyes in this vid please?

  • @AmyCat71 The quad 'Velvet Crush' by Maybelline :)

  • ohmygoodness, you look so gorgeous!

i might have to try that mineral blemish kit. (:

  • @candylandwedding93 Aw thanks so much <3 xoxo

  • Thanks for reviewing these! I was curious about the blush sheets - I kind of suspected they would not work as marvelously as promoted. :) Interesting about the blemish powder - that would be worth checking out! I thought it was pretty much a dupe for the Bare Minerals blemish concealer, but it is actually for treatment. Neat! Hope you are well!

  • @LydiaKrow Yeah it's so cool that it's a treatment!! Thanks lady, you too!! xoxo

  • So good to know! Thanks babe! :)

  • @Kaceydia Anytime cutie ;)

  • oh wow blush sheets? reminds me of those eye shadow sheets that you rub onto your eyes... lol kind of weird and actually harder to use.

  • @davidluv4 sooo awkward haha I don't know why I was so excited!!

  • @linds1986 well like you said, you get mesmorized by the newness of it. we're bascially addicted to makeup. :)

  • You look beautiful in this video -- love your eyes -- tutorial please!! :)

  • @jdrhea1 Aw thanks so much! It's the quad 'Velvet Crush' by maybelline...I just have the 'crease' shade on my lid and the 'outer corner' shade in my crease! :)

  • @linds1986 HA -- well that is easy enough!! :) I'm gonna have to go get that quad -- it's gorgeous!!!!

  • I also have the volumizing mascara and wasn't "wowed" either...I prefer the mineral infused mascara. Thanks for the info. on the mineral blemish powder...will order that!! :)

  • @bearyhappyshopper Yeah they need to work on what they call their products, as that one should have been Completely Average Non-Wowing Mascara haha

  • Glad I didn't go for the shimmer sheets! Thanks for the reassurance :) The shine eraser is really good for its price, they're similar products and that's why I'm mentioning it.

  • @celinavlogs Oh yeah! I have heard good things about those :)

  • Your makeup is so beautiful in this video!

  • @SelinaDelaney Thank you so much! :)

  • Holy pretty eyes today!!!!!!!! I'm going to check that quad out.

  • @LindyLoo999 aw thanks so much!! :) It's one of my faves, and it's cheap! Bonus! I use the 'crease' shade all over my lid and the 'outer corner' shade on my outer half and in the crease! :)

  • You should really invest in a new camera with a good microphone.

  • @meluhkneeann That is a good camera..

  • @meluhkneeann Maybe one day :)

  • Thanks for this. I thought the shimmer sheets seemed a bit awkward too, so I'm glad I didn't buy them. However, in a pinch, you might can swirl your blush brush over them to collect enough product to actually use so you aren't wasting your money. Great video, Linds! ^_^

  • @ShaunQuisha Yeah good call, like single serving blush! haha :)

  • u look very pretty/fancy :)

  • @fruitnugget1 Aw thanks! :)

  • What eyeshadow do you have on? It is a lovely color and looks beautiful on you!

  • @healtopalm Thanks so much!! It's the Maybelline Quad 'Velvet Crush' one of my faves!!! xoxo

  • Do you use the blemish kit under your makeup?

  • @ihmlihml I suppose you could...I personally don't because my skin is so dry as it is that I have to moisturize right before I put my concealer on or else it flakey-city on my face!

  • Bare Minerals make the exact same blemish kit and it comes with a brush very similar...except I paid 20 bucks for it...LOL

  • @franniesays72 lol! Maybe that's what elf was copying? I find they often copy higher end products...which is a good thing as long as the product works out!!

  • i love your eyes make up :)

  • @TheAlikaki Thanks so much!! :)

  • Nice review. I think on the blemish powder though, people that are allergic to Sulfa should use this product with care. A skin test first would be advised.

  • @jenGeeJushawshee Yeah that's a good point! :)

  • Hi Lindsay! Does the Elf Blemish fighter have a strong sulfur smell?

  • @robynlee94 Nope! It has no scent at all!! :)
