So he definitely had to seen people get killed and I wouldn't be suprised if he helped them kill somebody to. Because you don't get that close to being made especially back then without seeing shit like that or taking part in one. The FBI probably doesn't even know about some of the shit he did cus he was deep undercover and didn't check in for weeks somtimes.

I love his eyes, they're such expressive in all ways you want to have. He's able to play and to say so much only with his eyes. Simply wonderful. I adore Johnny as the actor he is. Unfortunately I'm sure that he could play pretty much better roles in good movies as he's done yet, but perhaps there will be come such in future times. No matter that he become older...

If you look where Lefty is sitting and looks over at Brasco, you could tell it's the same joint . Lot of movies were filmed in that joint. Now it's a tourist trap called Mulberry St. Bar.

In real life it was sonny black who left his bartender money and told him to take care of his pigeon coup on the roof!then sonny black went to the meeting in which he knew he would never return from! Lefty was picked up by the Feds on his way to the meeting and was sent to prison ! This movie was altered alittle from the true story! These were real gangsters not like these rats who roll over in today's mob!

Great film. I think Johnny Depp's most interesting and unique films were in the 90's while nowadays he acts in plenty of commercially successful fairytales to stay on the top. Al Pacino was impressive here too and Michael Madsen with Anne Heche did a great job too. I miss the 90's so much!!!

The most impressive thing about Pacino to me is that he played 5 different gangster characters. Compare Michael Corleone, Tony Montana, Big Boy Caprice, Carlito Brigante and Lefty. They don´t have anything in common, Pacino played them all in different ways using different acting methods. Very impressive, only Robert De Niro comes close to Pacino in playing gangster characters.
