Like this, mishap or not. The energy is amazing, and they got the party started. Of course it would've been fun if it was the cast dancing, and to me it looks like BS really has to pull himself together after getting started on the wrong foot, so to speak - Even though it's an upbeat song, he doesn't really smile or look directly at the audience at first. I know it is hard to believe but this was not supposed to be a dance show, The dancers had their moment on that other show, while Blake stayed in the background. Believe it or not, this was Blake's and Kenny's moment to celebrate the music. You know that song that makes everyone WANT to dance? Yeah, that's one.
Country awards are so different then pop/rap. rappers want to wear all the bling and gold in there teeth and country singers come with faded jeans and a t-shirt, there actually real and you can relate, and thats why i love country music<3

To be fair, Blake Shelton's career really didn't hit this big before until he switched management and went over to Starstruck (Reba's management company she built). When Reba & Narvel decided to re-open that part of Starstruck again, Blake was their very first artist (besides Reba, of course) to be attached to the label. Reba, Narvel & Narvel's son Brandon have done so much for Blake. It's crazy to think now, that a few years ago he wasn't even nominated.

Totally jammed out to this song last night!!!!! AWESOME Peformance by him and so many other great artists. It was the first time I had ever fully watched the CMA Awards and it was amazing. <3

@Wind0wPain He starts a measure late. The line "I got this feeling" was never sung cause he realized he was a measure late and just skipped that line. It was really smooth that if you couldn't catch if you hadn't listen to the song many times beforehand!

Blake tweeted he made a mistake in the song. His mistake was in the beginning instead of saying "That time's just holding me down" he said "That job's just holding me down" No biggy whatsoever! Great performance Blake!!!

@Wind0wPain at the :24 mark he sings "gotta tell me what i got", then he misses the words "i got this feeling" and sings the time keeps holding me down.......it wasnt a big mistake, but a mistake nonetheless
