Oh rly? Porters are a very high performance aircraft that will usually beat the jumpers to the ground in the hands of the right pilot. Lens foreshortening will make it appear to be closer than it actually is due to the cameraflyer being high above the team and using zoom.

@BETA145 Porter is not a TYPE of airplane, it is an Airline! That is a fake video: 1. that's the plane that they JUST jumped out of. 2. it is not an aerobatic airplane. They don't fly straight down, or in this case, straight down & sideways. The wings will fall off going straight down, & going sideways like that, there is no airflow over the wings, meaning no control over the elevator, ailerons or the flaps. so at that point, its a lawn dart!

@BBDrums34 I think it's real, porter is an airplane it's called a Pilatus Porter and it is fairly aerobatic for what it is, people have jumped out of a porter and got back in it while the pilot flew it straight down, granted it was anchored on the tail, put in skydiver jumps from one plane to another on the youtube bar, it's a pretty sweet video!

I think the lens focal length may be distorting the distance - it may not have been particularly close, there again it may have been close...

This is typical of a Porter in order to get back to the ground quickly for the next load.

My understanding is that the Porter can reverse the pitch on the prop for very fast descents that do not involve the wings falling off...
