I remember seeing Digable Planets perform 2 songs on Soul Train on a Saturday morning in 1994. They performed "Jettin". Then, after a commercial break, Don Cornelius re-introduced Digable Planets & they performed 9th Wonder. I was so jazzed, I immediately went out & bought the CD- it was (like) $18. A few years later, I got my hands on the double vinyl of Blowout Comb as well as the 12" of 9th Wonder. So great.

The Blowout Comb album was weak compared to the Reachin' (A New Refutation Of Time And Space) album. Seems like production was rushed on the Blowout Comb joint. Nevertheless, Digable Planets are very orignal, innovative, and untouchably fresh. Legendary.
