Very well played, sir :-) I watched this mainly to see how much of this game I remembered since I last played it in 1995. The 6 levels I remembered ok, bosses 1 2 4 5 6 ok but I thought that boss 3 was in a pinball machine, so I was wrong there. I remembered the music for levels 1 2 3 and the final boss.  Totally forgot music in 4 5 6, and I forgot that level 6 act 3 was underwater again. I did complete the game but I don't think I worked out the Robotnik appearance pattern for the final.

I remember i asked my Father to get me the Nintendo System, and he came home with the SEGA GENESIS instead, i was so disappointed....

A few days later i was the only and happiest kid in my class that had SONIC home... and so glad i had the chance to play it!!!

The game has wrong sound. The PSG is wrongly emulated, most noticeable the jumping sound.

Try using a better emulator, like KEGA FUSION. Or even better: a REAL Genesis/Mega Drive!
