  • Nanjing masscre deniers are just as bad as Jewish holocaust deniers. They are all liars and racist bigots.

  • Why many Chinese people came back to Nanking after Japanese occupied the city?

Why Chinese government paid money to Harold Timperley for writing book What War Means which was written about so-called the Nanking Massacre?

The number of Nanking population increased by about 277,000 from 200,000 as of March 1938. How Japanese killed 300,000 citizens?

China created the Nanking Massacre story for asking help to the U.S. These days, the massacre was used by China for tying unity.

  • @undertakerRach No, what you are stating is Japanese (bullshit) propaganda. There are many eye witness accounts by Westerners and Chinese alike of he horrors of the Japanese army. Not only eye witness, but video and photo also. The Japanese were terrible in WWII and the fact that they deny their actions makes them cowards. What happened in Nanjing was anihilation. Rape and murder of innocent unarmed people including infants. The Japs were just as bad as the Nazis.

  • @curtgenerowe (Part1)Completely what you said is opposit. Minnie Vautrin, a professor at the college, wrote 100 girls were raped by Japanese soldiers in her diary on Dec 16, 1937. Also, John Rabe, the leader of the Nanking Safety Zone, wrote in 17th that 1,000 women and girls are said to have been raped last night. James McCallum, a medical doctor in Nanking, wrote about rape crimes in his diary in 19th. However, these cases of rape were what these Westerners heard about from Chinese people.

  • @curtgenerowe (Part2)About two weeks later, as mentioned in the New York Times on January 4, 1938, Vautrin and other Ginling College professors got to know that the Chinese officers harbored by them had repeatedly raped in the Nanking Safety Zone and then blamed Japanese soldiers for their attacks. The New York Times reported, “(the) American professors…were seriously embarrassed to discover (it).” So would Rabe and McCallum have been.

  • @ (Part3)In February, as the Osaka Asahi Shinbun reported, the Japanese military arrested eleven hiding Chinese soldiers who had committed numerous atrocities in Nanking, speaking Japanese and wearing counterfeit of Japanese translator's armband to pose as Japanese. After they were caught, conspicuous cases of rape, looting and other atrocities did not take place. The Chinese have accused Japan about the rape crimes during the war. However, these crimes were definitely caused by the Chinese.

  • @curtgenerowe (Part4)Moreover, most of pictures were fabricated by China. A photo has displayed at the Nanking Massacre Museum. The caption said, "The Japanese rounded up thousands of women. Most of them were gang raped or forced into military prostitution. But this photo appeared in the Asahi Graph, a weekly photo journal, published in Japan on Nov 10, 1937, about one month before Nanking battle. The explanation says,///

  • @curtgenerowe (Part5) "A group of women and children from the Rising Sun Village returning from the fields, guarded by our soldiers."

Shame on China! Do you need more evidence of fake of Nanking?

  • @undertakerRach Your bullshit is endless, and your obviously "drinking the coolaid" put out by Japanese Govt. I am not saying that China is a perfect Country by any means, but I have been there and I know that there are several misunderstandings of Chinese people and China. For example, the fact that most people think that China is communist, or that the Govt. chooses jobs for the ppl, or that they will get an abortion if they find out the sex of the baby is Female.

  • @curtgenerowe This is all folly. Also, the famine you speak of during the time of Mao is due to the weather. China fits under no form of communism that Marx described, in fact, when I traveled there, it seemed even more capitalist than America. The Chinese call their system "New Communism" and is actually a blend of Socialism and Capitalism. Japan has not apologized for their harm to humanity, therefore the Japanese govt. are full of cowards. Germany did apologize for their atrocities.

  • @curtgenerowe You cannot ignore the facts of the ruthlessness of the Japanese army in WWII. What they did to Chinese people was terrible! That is a fact, and there is loads of evidence to prove it. You say that the Westerners were only told by Chinese people of the horrors, well I read the Westerners letters and they give their own eye witness accounts of Japanese torture, murder, and theft.

  • @curtgenerowe (Part1)One of the Photos displayed at the 'Memorial Hall of Victims in Nanjing Massacre'. It is also displayed in the book The Rape of Nanking. The book states "The Japanese rounded up thousands of women. Most of them were gang raped or forced into military prostitution. (Politburo of Military Committee, Taipei)" However, this photo has nothing to do with the gang-rape nor the military prostitution.

  • @curtgenerowe (Part2)This photo has appeared in the Asahi Graph, a weekly photo journal, published in Japan on November 10, 1937, about one month before Nanking battle. A set of four pictures have appeared in the journal with the explanation, titled as "Utopia amidst the Gun-power: The 'Rising Sun' Village South of the Yangtze." The very picture is captioned with "A group of women and children from the Rising Sun Village returning from the fields, guarded by our soldiers."

  • @curtgenerowe (Part3)In those days in china, the lootings are often committed by the deserted Chinese soldiers. Therefore, the farmers have needed the protection of Japanese troops to engage in farming safely. Also, this very photo has been taken by Correspondent KUMASAKI in the province of Paoshan in the vicinity of Shanghai, on October 14, 1937.

  • @curtgenerowe (Part4)In short, a scene of peaceful farming village has been secretly switched to the one that is taking villagers to somewhere prior to rape en masse. It is indeed a wicked act of secretly switching the picture. China has no right to accuse Japan of crimes such as the Nanking Massacre because the massacre was made up story using fabricated evidence. Obviously what China says is pure fiction! Demonstration of this story by the Chinese government is libel and slander.

  • @curtgenerowe (Part5) It is natural that Japanese raising an objection.

The Nanking Massacre was a created story by China.

  • How...communist??

The fuck? The city was under KMT control.

  • I just became aware of this massacre recently. So awful. It truly is the forgotten holocaust.

  • A little too personal, but goddamnit, apologize and move on. Is it right that Japanese schools don't teach this? No. Is it right that after half a century, Chinese people still feel animosity because of this? Absolutely not.

Europe has moved on, so why can't Asia?

  • @unifieddynasty Actually the government in China doesn't really care. Mao even thanked Emperor Akihito for the Japanese invasion because it allowed Mao to rise to power.

  • @Noobssuckass300 I don't think Mao thanked anyone for the rape and murder of nearly a million Nanjingers. I also doubt the rhetoric expressed by Mao being possibly translated to mean that he supported Imperialist Japanese forces. It would seem highly unlikely, given his wartime coalition with the Guomindang regime to topple those foreign invaders.

  • @unifieddynasty Europe has moved on? Is that why holocaust denial gets you put in prison in Germany and France?

  • @TheAimlessRoad It's why most people in The United Kingdom, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Russia, the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Albania, Lithuania, and Spain do not shoot Germans on sight; it's why the vast majority of Germans today accept the Holocaust tragedy, and why they presently resent the hell out of foreign intervention.

Europe has moved on, at least more so than Asia.

  • Christina bale doesn;t stare in city of life and death does he? He stars in a new movie coming out about the same masacre but its called something different.

  • I watched the original black & white version. It was hard film to watch. Very heart breaking. In that version they also have the japanese soldier that commits suicide.

I did not feel it really effected my shear hate for what the japanese facists had done during WW2 though.

  • God damn Google is linking ur vids to stupid Naz-Bol shit. Probz on purpose to discredit us.

  • The J-government is never going to fully admit what exactly went down.

  • Wouldn't be surprised if Japanese film critics went to town on this. Their history text books more or less deny it ever happened over there. Appalling lack of remorse for the war.

  • Love these videos. You truly give the news

In the most professional of ways.

  • Imperialists have always had a hard time dealing with reality.

  • @blackiron60

they dont need to deal with reality, they create it. and thats whats so fucked up

  • @blackiron60 Which is also the reason why most of them a religious fanatics.

  • christan bale is in the roll call The Flowers of War also about rape of nanking but he was not in the movie call City of Life and Death"

  • I love a movie or show that isnt afraid to show us that both sides are human, fallible, and not "evil".

I loved Gundam anime series for that.

It is sad how easily people criticise it not based on the content, but how they feel about the topic alone.

  • How the fuck could this film be communist propaganda?! China wasn't even communist at the time!

  • @Christ724 Let me educate you on something.

Anything not white, protestant, heterosexual, "manly" and strictly follows Austrian economics based libertarian free market economics (which means absolutely NO taxes) is code word for Communism.

    Not white? Communist.

    Not protestant? --> Communist

    Not heterosexual? --> Communist

Are you a woman? Are you a house wife? No? --> Communist

For the free market? Want a little bit of taxes for public utilities? Yes? --> Communist

  • @technatezin Shut up capitalist scum

  • @69Techno69pt Get a fucking brain alright. No wonder idiots like you can be lied to and fooled by politicians and business people so easily.

  • @technatezin Fooled by business people? I am communist I don't get fooled by capitalists.

  • @69Techno69pt You sure got fooled by state capitalists who run the country as a corporation and you as their lowly serf.

Tell me something. If I'm the great leader or the dear leader or the great helmsman or some other crap grandiose title they give for infallible dictator of the people what does that make you?

  • @technatezin Stop speculating capitalist.

  • @technatezin Very true. Brilliant comment bro

  • @technatezin

Can't tell is sarcastic or stupid...

  • @fonkymaster It's sarcasm in a way, but also deadly serious for the imperialists involved. They DO believe in a greater American empire that has as it's economic and political rulers being white, anglo-saxon, protestant, heterosexual, patriarchs as resting on the top of the pyramid.

Minorities and non-christians can have a part as their "foreign" junior partners only so far as they could fulfill some function in maintaining the empire.

They're never intended to be actually equal.

  • @technatezin

    Shut up you damn communist.

  • @CheddarBob39 Whatever. Suck on a loaded shotgun.

  • As a Stalinist I can say I love Red Dawn, that film should have been at the cannes film festival and Swayze god rest his soul should have got an oscar. WOLVERINES!!!!

  • I liked the movie I can't understand how they think it's propaganda...

The Japanese was brutal but I've been to China and they hate Japan I don't understand. After all these thousands of years they been treathing the Japanese like shit all since they where created. China even invaded Japan several times and committed even worse crimes against them then they committed in WWII.

It's just an endless cycle of hate that will never end between Korea and China against Japan

  • @SMGJohn China did not invaded Japan several times and neither has it commited worse crimes against the japanese. Stop lying.

  • @69Techno69pt Learn history

  • @SMGJohn That's a bunch of bull. The Chinese never committed live vivisection on humans. They never broken every single rule on the Geneva Convention.

  • @Noobssuckass300 Was the Geneva convention ever created in 1500th century!?!?

  • @SMGJohn I didn't know you had to write down rules that forbade bombing of innocent civilian and use of biological and chemical weapons.

  • @SMGJohn Absolute bullshit. Japan was a reliable trading partner with China and her Korean vassals for thousands of years. During the period of isolationism from the West, one of the only routes to access Japanese merchandise was to broker third party deals with Chinese merchants as mediators. It was only after the Meiji reformation that Imperialist tendencies imported from the West began to turn the Japanese into believing they were somehow better, and therefore destined to rule all of Asia.

  • @unifieddynasty Surely Japan has been trading with China and Korea. However remember that Japan was never a united nation, it consisted of many clans each clan with their rules and culture. China, Korea and Japan has been fighting long time, civil wars. Wars against each other and stuff like that, when it comes to fighting Korea was certinely the most cruelest fighters of them all with savage methods

  • @SMGJohn "Japan was never a united nation"

Yes it was. For centuries under the emperor and/or the shogunate.

"China, Korea and Japan has been fighting long time, civil wars."

Civil wars are wars fought internally, not between rival nations. By your own definition, China had no involvement in Japan, hence, it could never have committed atrocities to the Japanese people. Moreover, China had no capacity to invade Japan. Their only failed attempts were as vassals under the Great/Golden hordes.

  • @SMGJohn China never invaded Japan. The Mongols used Chinese infantry during their invasion, but that's about it.

  • Why the hell would he defend a movie depicting innocent Chinese civilians getting killed?

  • @CastroMaoist1956 He was defending the movie showing what happened. The movie was attacked, people claimed it was propaganda.

  • It's stupid to think of it as communist propaganda.

  • Good Movie Review. When Communism becomes defacto system maybe they will give you the position of Communist Party Movie Reviewer. LOL
