For some reason, I misremembered this as "Amazing Stories," rather than TZ. But then, I seem to have missed an awful lot in this story (I was 11 or so).

@bitchingood at the end the kids dad sneezed, and sneezing/sickness was because of the mr bendectson the vampire guy. But he gets killed, so the sickness must be coming from a new vampire, most likely toby

Humans have evolved over time a genetic resistance to vampires, I get that bit it's clear, how the kid became infected I don't know but i still love this episode. I love all episodes, I'm a bloody geek like you lot.

@bellacinderellakk I know this is late,lol, but I think I get it. When Mr. Bendickson( I think that was his name) was talking about genetics he meant that humans have, like a gene built into them to protect them from Vampires. Them getting sick was like a sign that there was a vampire in town which triggered the gene which turned them into werewolves. Thats why they all turned into vampires that night.

HawthornHeightsfan91 got it right (except for the part about the town turning into vampires, they turned into "monsters" that destroy vampires). The vampire explained it was an allergy/mutation that developed in humans to protect against vampires, which are much stronger.

@FreeHistoryvids The ending wasn't definitive. The breeze was to suggest the dad sneezed because of a simple chill, but the boy's shocked look was to keep you guessing. To make you think of the possibilities.
