ummm halfway in the shell, angling just away from where by beater hits, also i use a rolan trigger

@LeeMitchellDrums cool thanx. my mics all together cost $100 and the kick gets hard to work with sometimes. i used to put it right at the beaters inside the drum. i run into that problem when the kicks sound inconsistant even when its clean. i wish i could mix some trigger in there

@rhythmkid1 Like I have said before, the kick is triggered/mic'd and blended to taste. and it took mixing to get it to sound like this aha, if you don't like/use triggers yourself that's fine, but just remember some people do =]

@LeeMitchellDrums I also like triggers, i wasn't having a go at you for using them, i do too. I was merely making it clear that it was triggered, you mixed it well though, sounds huge.

I subscribed during the shitty youtube commercial thing just because of your kit and then i heard 1. how great it sounds/ the amazing audio and then 2. how good you are.. MORE COVERS preferably August Burns Red or The Devil Wears Prada. Matt Greiner and Daniel Williams are my drumming influences :) in short keep doing what your doing because it makes people happy except for that 1 fucker.

Hey man nice cover! I was trying to sample my kick too but I couldn't find as good of a sample so I ended up just not sampling itxD What program did you use? and you should turn the overheads up a bit more, they are a bit quiet, sick cover though!:]

@kaseyyydrums Thanks dude, i used Steven Slate 3.5 Platinum for the kick relpacement it retails at around £1-50 - 190 (about $250 - 300) i'll make sure the overheads are louder for my next cover =] thanks for watching man =D
