I think the best dynasty warriors game is DW 3 cuz it's a bit more challenging than the other ones I've played em 3 up except DW 7 an ima get that when the price drops s bit

Dynasty Worriors 2 is the only game i played.. im trying to get the 6 on PS3 but Zhang Fei was my favorite and i didnt understand that mutch of the game intill i saw Battle at redcliff and looked up Dynasty Worriors again and saw the link between them all ;D its Awsome :D
@TheCrusaderxx Don`t get Dynasty warriors 6 because they changed every charracter`s weapon and i hads only a few musou modes.Get warriors orochi because you can make Three character teams, weaopon fusions and every character can do special attacks(zhang fei has a good special attack).It is better than Dynasty warriors 6.
@TheM93raffica You know what game you should get?wWarriors orochi because it is a crossover of dynasty warriors and samurai wariors.I got the first one on my psp and it is cool.it lets you play as any three of 77 playable characters.
Also why does Zhao Yun rescue Liu Bei's son Liu Shan when Liu Shan grows and becomes the ruler of Shu after Liu Bei dies and was not as capable of ruling Shu as Liu Bei was, and therefore Shu was conquered by Wei around 263 - 264 AD. I suppose there were other reasons such as Zhuge Liang refusing Liu Bei's deathbed request of him siezing control of Shu if Liu Shan became inept, or the fact that Liu Shan ignored Jiang Wei's advice and only histened to Huang Hao.

Dynasty Warriors 2 was the first Dynasty Warriors game I bought. I still love this game in the series although I no longer have it. Shu are my favourite kingdom and my favourite shu kingdom character is Zhao Yun. Liu Bei and his sworn brothers Guan Yu and Zhang Fei are also great.
This song is so intense! And that guitar solo, OMG!!! It makes my hair stand on end. It's probably one of the best guitar solos I've ever heard! From 0:25 to 1:25 is the most amazing part of the song.
I love the opening theme in this game.. why didn't they use this one and Lubu can have the other one. It's kinda silly havin' a DW theme, and then havin' a character theme that sounds like the game theme itself. D:

Some people complained about the type of music used in the dynasty warriors. How it wasn't normal music for either the subject or the timeline. They added a bit more traditional instruments to the mix but something about rock n roll music that just feels right for the series.

Yea I did laugh at that after the first DW game. After the first one I started researching all the char i liked and was amazed that most of them were not as Noble as they are in the game. Other then LuBu being still up for debate if he was real or not but hay I love a good story. But game wise I tend to like Wei more. maybe since I like evil ppl more haha.

lol, if u actually look into the ACTUAL history of the three kingdoms my boy, ZY did just as much as ZL and XD did. During the occupation of cheng du and the establishment of the shu dynasty, zhao yun was the leading force for the northern campaign against wei, lui bei went later. ZY never lost a battle against wei leading to the battle in tian shui where jiang wei joined shu. Look more into the actual history before u say. Ty
I saw this game at a small store and it was only 5 bucks. I thought twice before getting it, I was thinking it wasnt gonna be much fun. But then luck had me buy it, and now i am a full time pledged fan to the DW serries.
Dynasty Warriors is my favorite game series ever. But I might never have discovered it, if DW2 wasn't on the demo disc my PS2 came with. I know and have never known anyone in real life who likes it, and reviewers slam it, it's likely I'd have never played it.
What I like best about this game is that is dedicated to something what has really happened- the age of the three kingdoms, though it plays a little with history, legends and their own immagination...
I agree i love the dynasty warriors series..but this is probably the best, the intro itself is epic, they should use intros like these, which show all kingdoms properly on every game in the series.
I don't think they have to show all Kingdoms equally every time, but I think it's about time they do so again. Enough with Zhao Yun already!
It would probably be asking too much, but how about seperate intros for all 3 kingdoms, with the opening just being bits of cinematics thrown together.
well i think they could make the games alot better. they improve it each time a new one is realeased, but its still fairly the same thing all the time, they should add alot more to the game :/

This game is just immense, I played this all the time as a kid and I still play DW, Personally I think DW is the best games ever created.
I used to think that you could fight the Wu Tiger, Wei Phoenix and Shu Dragon just because of the intro, When you can only do it in DW Strikeforce :)

Sorry, I am not a historian at all & all I can do just want to share some sense & logical thing like why Koei choose Zhao Yun not Lu Bu or Cao Cao or Guan Yu as their DW mascot... its just a pure simple & definitely for their good of business too
In fact, Zhao Yun also not so handsome like in the game since Zhou Yu was more famous being known as a handsome man in RoTk, its just a aesthetic sense of Koei & I don't believe anyone want to play a game with a lot of UGLY guys too eh?

My fav intro to the dynasty warrior,since the 2nd was my first^^ the sight of Zhou yu playing the flute captured my heart ^,^
he's ma favorite man(strategist) besides Liu Bei(leader), and even though people might consider it repeatitve..I find it enjoyable to play each release*
alas -_- I couldn't buy the DW6, the PS3 release(the most astonishing graphics I've ever behold *_*)since I'm broke, so I'll stick to my PS2 DW6 release till they make a new one^^

Some people complained about the type of music used in the dynasty warriors. How it wasn't normal music for either the subject or the timeline. They added a bit more traditional instruments to the mix but something about rock n roll music that just feels right for the series.

Yea you are right and I fail to see how people don't see it. Zhao Yun is the money maker for DW just as Sanada Yukimura is for SW. Zhao is "one" of my fav's (Lu Bu being my fav.. come on he has his own theme). You don't have to like Zhao Yun to know he is a major char.

Xiahou dun History wise is in my top 5 but top 10 in terms of the game.Zhao Yun is only in the top 10 in terms of the game not history. LuBu is still the best but hay thats just me. We all have our top fav's and they all earned that right. each char has there good points and bad.

Yea I did laugh at that after the first DW game. After the first one I started researching all the char i liked and was amazed that most of them were not as Noble as they are in the game. Other then LuBu being still up for debate if he was real or not but hay I love a good story. But game wise I tend to like Wei more. maybe since I like evil ppl more haha.

Of course, THEY ALL HAD KILL SO MANY PEOPLE both directly & indirectly but still Shu is always viewed as the GOOD guys since they :1. TRY TO REVIVE HAN DYNASTY. 2. HAD GUAN YU, a general worshipped so much by any Chinese. 3. HAD ZHUGE LIANG, one of the best strategy in RoTK. 4. Liu Bei is the descendant of one of the prince of Han Dynasty. While others especially Wei PROVED that they are just want to USURP Han Dynasty that last more than 200 yrs & waging many wars to do that

lol, if u actually look into the ACTUAL history of the three kingdoms my boy, ZY did just as much as ZL and XD did. During the occupation of cheng du and the establishment of the shu dynasty, zhao yun was the leading force for the northern campaign against wei, lui bei went later. ZY never lost a battle against wei leading to the battle in tian shui where jiang wei joined shu. Look more into the actual history before u say. Ty

Dynasty Warriors is my favorite game series ever. But I might never have discovered it, if DW2 wasn't on the demo disc my PS2 came with. I know and have never known anyone in real life who likes it, and reviewers slam it, it's likely I'd have never played it.

I agree i love the dynasty warriors series..but this is probably the best, the intro itself is epic, they should use intros like these, which show all kingdoms properly on every game in the series.
