Have you sany idea when your model was made and how old it might be?
I picked up the same one 20 years ago and it ahs a small brown generator built onto the main board that gives out 2-4v and am curious as to its age. Thanks

You mean the age of the steam engine or that of the generator? The engine is 50 years old, the generator I make them at home currently...

there are two screws that keep in place, you see one opposite the lamp near the camera position

A large O-ring that came off the final drive of my R100GS motorcycle. Seals the final drive from the brake drum.
