Schumacher gets a ten plce grid penalty for nearly causing an accident but Vettel gets a drive through for actually causing an accident.

It is sometimes hard to understand FIA.

Uh? Schumacher INTENTIONALLY tried a seriously dangerous maneuvre by practically ramming Barrichello into a concrete wall. Anybody that saw that, including the commentators and the experts (not to mention Barrichello) condemned that as irresponsible driving. Any other driving trying that would get a one race ban at least.

That maneuvre of Schumacher's was within his control. Vettel's accident when he accidently lost traction in the wet was NOT intentional or in his control.
