  • seriously, what type of twisted mind places more importance on their garden than on living creatures... how can you cause such suffering over a few plants.. be ashamed.. be very ashamed!

  • Send Dale's falcon !

  • Good video

  • Thank you so much for creating this video. I spent a ton on poison with no success. Then I saw this video. bought 4 traps. in 3 days I killed 7 voles that had made a real mess of my yard.

    Thanks again.

  • Informative but you should have edited and took out all the walking around with the cam, it makes me dizzy

  • I've got this problem as well... off to walmart i go :)

  • KILL EM! They're eating my 1000.00 rosebush hedge roots! KILL KILL KILL

  • OHHH MY FUCKING GOD.....WHO THE FUCK CARES IF YOU KILL THEM?? THEIR RODENTS NOT SOME ENDANGERED SPECIES. LIKE THEIR NOT EVEN GOOD FOR ANYTHING.

  • They are certainly NOT harmless. If it was just a couple holes in my yard I could care less. But, they have eaten the roots of EVERY vegetable I've planted this year. I've tried a lot of things and was excited to see this idea. But, the only thing I've caught is a million ants!! Any suggestions?

  • Check my vole baby video: fbVLytZLBHw

  • thanks for posting this. i thought i had voles too but they ended up being shrews. have gotten 15 so far since april. and mostly in the same area, near the garage.

  • @duncan7599 Voles are doing that , a product called permatill worked pretty well for me, you mix it in the soil before planting, it repels them and remains effective once it's in.

  • I just moved into a new house like 6 months ago and the damn voles have tunnels all under my sod and are eating all the roots...they kill the sod the little fuckers

Luckily my dog catches them and kills them

  • Great idea with those types of traps

  • @elementalwiz stfu

  • i'll have to give this a try. will probably have to place an upside-down bucket over it or the squirrels will get to the traps.

  • Good tip, thanks.

And you have a lovely garden.

  • They are not harmless. They will eat all your bulbs and kill shrubs and small trees by eating the bark.

  • Toooooooo Baaaaddd!! You are owned by the mices!! WHHHIIIPPPP your green mold rotted ass!!!

  • i feel your pain,,, these things are buggers,,,, and have ruined 100's of dollars of tulips,, and perenials.

i've caught 37 and the war goes on.

haven't seen these traps,,, but i don't see them above ground ever,,,,, if they have enuff food source below maybe they don't surface

and all these anti-kill liberals ,,,, would probably have tigers, lions starve rather than kill another animal,,,,,,and don't /haven't seen the damage they do

  • @eskibars....you are out of your mind, because there are so many holes and forever mouses spreading...non stopping....Let them go!! You are such an idiot!!

  • You are so stupid for killing them for that no big deal holes!!

  • @JADEAV shut up you hippie. field mice are over populated

  • man has to control his little kingdom like a bitch

just like the goverment likes to kill poor children

  • i'm sort of okay with killing these animals if they cause you problems, cause if you think about it, a hawk wouldn't think twice about snatching these critters and ripping its head off. so why should you feel bad?

  • OR you can buy an owl to eat the vole!!

  • I support you eskibar - do not waiver, do not let up, death to the rodent invaders!

  • These things have distroyed my back yard. I just figured out what they are and now I know what to do..... I spent time and money reseeding and fertilizing, got my lawn looking lush and then this.... AND YES!!!! I would love to simply ask the cute little Voles if they could just pack up their little tribe and move to the feild about a block away.

Unfortunately that's not how it works in real life.

  • All you people having a flippin fit over killing voles...do your research. We have about $3000 dollars worth of gardening in our yard and these things are killing everything, plants, trees, grass. About the only thing they are good for is aerating your lawn but otherwise, they are terrible and full of disease. I'd be more than happy to catch them for you morons and dump them in your yards then lets see how anti cruelty you are.

  • I have a vole problem and they killed almost all of my veggie garden, and that side of my yard is impposible to walk on or mow, still I would rather repel the creatures than kill them and I read that caster oil will do that, has anyone tried the caster oil???

  • I could care less about my bermuda grass, but I've spent a lot of money on shrubs and groundcover - they have killed about $200 worth this past summer, so yeah, it's a big deal.

  • bunch of tree huggers uhg... -_- derjew they damage your land and i am not that fond of them doing that!

  • I've been using the "The giant destroyer" gas bombs but the only way I can tell if i got em is the stench of decay a few days later, thanks for the vid, I'm gonna try this...

  • bank voles are beautiful creatures of peace~go live in the concrete jungle if you do not love nature

  • @iamearthbornami Unless you've ever had a serious problem w/voles, then please be so kind as to keep your "tree huggin'" opinions to yourself. Voles don't just make a few little holes... they can destroy your entire lawn! I raked up three (3) five gallon buckets today, full of DEAD grass that voles destroyed. They eat it at the base of the blade and then it dies. I have above ground AND below ground tunnels. I don't enjoy killing the voles... but I HATE what they're doing to my backyard!

  • @bobbobertson390 i get what you are saying~if their natural habitat hadnt been destroyed they would be far happier there~peace~all things happen for a reason~

  • Something ate my Hostas from the roots up to the leafs and sucked the plant down into the ground and I figured out it was voles. So, I bought some traps at Walmart and tried your method from this video and I've caught and killed 6 in three days! Thanks very much for making this!

  • Thank you eskibars for saying what we'd all like to tell these environmental whackos.

  • Great video! We've been having nothing but problems with voles.

  • eventually these guys end up inside your house. Kill them to keep their population under control.

  • Thank you. They are destroying my garden and already have eaten my cabbage. It is difficult to grow your own food when these critters have taken over. I have tried to make my place unattractive so they move elsewhere --just not working.

  • @jasontourch17 i just don't like animals, so i make sure to kill as many animals as possible as often as possible.

  • @eskibars

wow... why? fuck... you're an asshole man... through and through... You don't like animals.. SO YOU KILL THEM? and as much as possible!? That's so fucking cruel...

  • @eskibars lol funny :)

  • @jasontourch17 Yes, we must worship the animals. Pepole are not important. We should kill off all the people so that the animals can have their world back. You can go first. If I'm not there, start without me, OK?

  • @jasontourch17 Unless you've ever had a serious problem w/voles, then please be so kind as to keep your "tree huggin'" opinions to yourself. Voles don't just make a few little holes... they can destroy your entire lawn! I raked up three (3) five gallon buckets today, full of DEAD grass that voles destroyed. • @jasontourch17 We kill them because of the huge amount of damage they do to gardens. The holes are just a symptom of the problem. If you want them, I'll send 'em over to your place.

  • @jasontourch17 voles, moles, and woodchucks dig shallow tunnels and holes in people's backyards. I heard of one elderly lady falling when a tunnel collapsed. She suffered a broken ankle in my area. Hard for the elderly to recover from an injury like that. I trap woodchucks, and now voles and moles. For some reason my yard is a critter magnet!

  • @jasontourch17 same thing as termites ...why dont we just let them be and reproduce all over the place and take down your whole house ...... please dont post ignorant thoughts ....

  • @jasontourch17 grow a dick pussy

  • @jasontourch17 i take a hose and put it in their holes and wash them out and then my dog devours them hehe!

  • My neighbor has voles and me and him are trying to catch one.

  • Why shoot voles, why do you have a problem, they are lovley animals and we should be saving them not killing them!!!!!

  • there pests i shoot them with my gamo big cat 1200 little fuckers go down like a sack of patatoes

  • I think so aswell.

    Voles are great.

  • Wow - this really works -- thanks a lot -- I have multiple garden beds and some have been denuded by voles (and who knows what else) ... all my beautiful alliums are gone! Who knew I'd get this video by typing "kill vole" into google ...

  • Thanks for posting up this video. Looks like I'm off to walmart tomorrow. They tore up a large portion of our yard already.

  • If you don't mind Snakes - they are most efficent predator and they will keep vole numbers to a minimum

  • i've found that they really like mouse traps with peanut butter, just like you also noticed. they are not very smart compared to the other critters and whole populations of them have been decimated by my traps.

i guess most farmers or people on acrage learn the ways of dealing with them. they were burrowing through holes in the concrete of my basement floor!

  • i just caught a field mouse today and now i got it in a giant fish tank with straw

  • I have more fun way to kill voles from my yard. (hehehe) I shoot them! And thanks for the beanut butter tip.

  • i've caught 6 so far in a week with this method. not caught, killed. great idea.

  • I have voles killing a juniper bed (60' x 30') that had taken 8 years to fill in. When I attempt to use this method, the voles actually fill each hole with dirt, from the inside. They counter both traps and poison in this way. I'm not sure what to do next.

derjew-- You're a loser. Why don't you dedicate your pathetic life to saving the Voles.

  • why are you killing them? Theyre not hurting you. A few little holes in your yard...Stop giving such a shit. Its their home, not yours.

  • they are cute, but they cost money to keep around. time to eradicate them idiot.

  • They kill plants, which is why I care. If you had an ant/termite problem in your house, would you just accept some asshat on the internet telling you "oh stop giving such a shit. It's the termites home, not yours." These animals are destructive and overpopulated. Go back to singing kumbaya and figuring out how we can save the life of every overpopulated animal in the world at the expense of the well being of every other overpopulated animal in the world.

  • @eskibars i accidentley replied to you not jasontourch17. he said he liked killing animals not you. sorry. oh also do u know of any homemade traps for these?

  • @eskibars I agree.

  • @eskibars As if humans arent overpopulated? Kill yourself.

  • @eskibars amen brotha

  • @derjew These damn voles having invaded my house!!1

  • Thank you soooo much,I bagged my first one last nite...

These guys already destroyed two bushes by eating ALL the roots....

  • LOL MISSRAOUL LOL

  • I now know, how to handle a vole problem. Thank you and goodnight
