@95xXxdude - some details: N9 use Nokia Ovi - terrible app-market - download pictures when need show it. Ovi is problem, not HW. In others, only one problem is stupid chaotic madness test. For normal use is N9 fine usable (with bad Ovi).

PS: CPU: N9 have 1GHz, Lumia800 have 1,4GHz. :-)

@otaku253s I'm in the same situation as you! :D I'm thinking about the n9 and the lumia 800. n9 has better camera performance 800 has more apps n9 is linux based which is cool 800 is microsoft, not so cool both have a great interface n9 has better multitasking 800 has dedicated camera button n9 has a front facing camera and NFC 800 will have longer support than n9 n9 has a slightly bigger screen those are the differences that I know... also you might want to consider lumia 900 / lumia 910

WP7 has been known fo its fluid scrolling no matter what phone/brand... look at review on phones that has WP7 and the OS itself.... it does say "it scrolls fluidly" no matter what phone.... the lumia has 400mhz faster at 1.4ghz so that will help a bit, i just got the n9, its pretty good, i also have galaxy s2 and that is dam fast. the biggest problem for me is moving to no buttons at all lol, i guess thats the future though. and micro sim is a bitch, can choose to use both phones at any given time, anyone know how i can over come this, have my same plan and number on both a micro and normal sim card?

The "test" does not proof anything valid from hardware.

First the N9 does not have a MeeGo, but a Maemo 6.0 what was renamed as "Harmattan" and later classified as "MeeGo Instance" (It is not MeeGo compatible).

Secondly, Harmattan has been configured to be a littlebit "jelly" kind UI. The list has been slowed and made to respond quick touches slower. It is very clear software configuration if user knows what is doing it.

Harmattan or N9 hardware is not lagging at all, it is just coded so.

Now, FYI, N9 IS going to lag at different places (other then this useless scrolling). And you know what is the reason for it? Well you guessed it: multitasking. In N9 vs Lumia-whatever, Lumia is like that version of window that probably came before window 3.1 as far as multitasking is concerned.

I love WP7, but this test is just ridiculous. No one is ever gonna scroll that quick in OPPOSITE directions when using the N9. In terms of general usage, the N9's scrolling is smooth enough. I own a WP7 device and even I don't scroll that quickly on my phone.
