I saw Moby perform this at a party at the Hollywood racetrack circa '91, and he also did the song "THousand", what an awsome night. The party was called Monster Mash, halloween costume party, so cool, miss that time.
I don't see why people call moby techno. his music seems to employ elements from all different genres. and all his songs sound so different from each other.
@soulmansaul, u obviously havent read the info on my channel, i have double a level in music and am doing open uni course atm on music tech i play drums keyboard and guitar. i am in 3 bands and jam most days. iv organised 3 raves on farms around my area. u say do something i am i just think it was different then.
I'm a producer as well man. Don't mean shit to me wether you make it or listen. It's the passion that we all share that counts. Anyways, as someone had said on some other youtube vid. We have to go through a decade of shit music until we get the good stuff again when everyone goes WTF is going on? I feel that this to be the case. You just have to look at labels like ostgut ton to see what I mean. It's changing man, these past 2 years have seen amazing music being made again. Trust
this is one of mobys best, i also like feeling so real, some oldskool music have so much emotion to the music, ppl realy danced for the energy, today they dance for popualr culture, wat made rave so great was the fact it was the music, not the stars
i will like moby until eternity. my parents loved 18 and PLAY, so i grew up with these two records and then i got curious and worked my way back in his catalogue. i am so happy my parents liked him! WOOOH
@MuggendeVlieg It blows my mind that your PARENTS like Moby You make me feel soooo old. lol It is great that you researched his back caltalog, I did that with Fleetwwod Mac and my former peace loving parents.
@karmafix68@t3781 agree with you both and on top of that he seems like a genuinely nice and cool person when you hear him interview. He has no problems making fun of himself.

@lilvfr400boy plenty of back catalogues outhere plus discogs kid. we were gutted when songs were deleted years ago. at least we can all hear them these days :-)
I hate this attitude. It really annoys me. People always complaining about how they missed it and all this, yes we fucking missed this but do something about it instead of moaning. Make music. Do it your way. Do it better. This is the only way it'll happen again.
@lilvfr400boy Don't say that, you don't know what's coming next that will touch you. I'm 50, I thought I missed all the really great music too, having not seen John Coltrane or Duane Allman. When all this techno music came onto the scene in the late 80's, I was right there for it and it was awesome. There's something coming next that will blow your mind, Keep it, and your ears, open.
@pete1729 I myself have been telling others this. It will be interesting, but one will have to be in the know, because I only found out about this great music back in '95 when I was 24. Then again, I did my fair share of partying for the next 5 years and made up for the delay ;-)
Awesome! Love this stuff - only problem is, how am I going to explain this to my grand children when I'm old and feeble, grey haired and using a walker at 90 years of age and still listening to Moby!? :-D
I've always thought of how our grandkid's will think of our music. I think my grandparent's music is super mellow, how bad will our grandkid's music be? scary thought.
