@aaronb825 you're right but sometimes groups rerecorded their songs on other labels because managers and record companies did not honor royalty contracts.
@denisjl100 Very true. The business was so so corrupt and cut-throat we had too suff the foolishness. The original version was done by Doris who also sang Dedicated to the One I Love. True Divas. The world's first of R&B/POP.
It should be on the Holy Smoke soundtrack... they just played it! It's a great song!
