@CheapSteaks Personally i have noticed that this is better Developer for leg balancing than the Squats. Squats Stress the quads+Thighs quite heavily in my case, and my Butt starts pointing out. In my opinion this is Better for inner muscules + Core , than the Squats,... So Answer is yes. It can make your thighs Smaller if u Follow a Good Eating lifestyle. Bodybuilder Milos Sarcev said nice things about this Movement too.
8x25 pushups, 8x25 curls, 8x1 minute planks, 8x10 squats, and 2-5 miles running every day, this will add great leg strengthening to my routine, thanks

i was doing some dumbbell lunges yesterday and pulled an upper ab muscle pretty bad, at least that's what I think happened. I'm hoping it will heal up good as new, but I won't be doing any ab exercises real soon. So word to the wise, be careful doing lunges....

there are both way you actually have most of your weight on the front leg, you can either push off wit hthe front leg and go back, or you put your back behind you and then push forward, the lifting of your leg while going backward should be exaggerated so that the foot is kept away from the ground, that's just more effective, try out both it's just different for your muscles and coordination
i wouldnt think so man. like the dude said below you, its mainly a stretch for ur butt. im not saying u do, but its possible u have bad knees. like me, when i go running and afterwords they really hurt. but i wouldnt think that ur knees should hurt. if u want a response from the guy himself, u should probably message his youtube account
I have that same problem with running as well. After a while, my knee caps hurt and if I keep running disregarding the pain, I end up losing cartilage quicker.
Do you guys have some good running-shoes? Most of the time, that is the problem. If you bought them at your local supermarket they aren't good, they just cause your more pain than stability when running.
when it comes to running choose either nike or asics...good support. buy 2 shoes and alternate it everyday. may hurt ur budget but its my best advice of rescuing your knees

it depends, if your a fatty then its likely to burn fat around your body, if your skinny the increase of muscle will make your legs more muscular. If your a guy you will grow muscle easier than if your a woman, as chicks really don't need to worry about getting "big" unless they are extreme body builders or on steroids. My guy opinion is that I'm not a fan of skinny girls. The chicks I've seen doing lunges in the gym have normally had nice bottoms and thighs probully helped by doing the lunges
Well I'm not a "fatty".. but I'm not the thinnest chick around. With that said, yes I'm a girl. My body mass index is 20.2 .. which isn't bad nor good, in my opinion... I think most of the weight is in my thighs and stomach .. But my stomach isn't bad at all. Pretty flat.
I really enjoy lunges, they use the stabilizing muscles well and you can really feel your whole leg work aswell as the gluts. I think anyone can benifit from them. If I were you I wouldn't worry about getting "big". Women really do worry too much about look like a body builder and unless they are hormonally different from most they wont ,no matter how hard they try, after all most guys find it really hard.
You can't target specific areas for fat loss; it's distributed evenly. All it's going to do is build up bulk in the area you're working out, which is the opposite effect that most people are aiming for.
That's not to say you won't burn anything off doing this, however.
No then you're not losing fat, you're building some muscle. You can't burn fat locally on your ass by doing lunges, or burn fat locally on your abs by doing crunches. For burning fat you need to lift weight for a higher metabolism and do cardio
But I think the overall consensus is that muscle helps burn fat and strength training builds muscle. Therefore, strength training indirectly burns fat. You're not going to lose weight doing nothing but lunges but, yeah, when you couple strength training with your cardio or aerobics, you'll be getting stuff done.
You can't spot reduce, meaning if you work out a body part you won't necessarily lose fat from that area. To lose overall body fat you have to do cardio. But yes lunges are a great butt exercise.

the protein bar is not one of the best cause it consists only 10 grams of protein but tastes soo good (130 calories no additives)
i live in malta a tiny island soo i dont have much option but u can find protein bars 50 grams consting protein. anybody who is trying to lose weight never never stop taking protein; u can eat less but u have to take protein and the best way is to take shakes and powder as they have the most protein with least calories. dont forget ur cells, hair, nails everuthing
and in addition to that i have been running 1 hour everyday for 2 years i dont have much fat on my inner tighs but because of too much cardio they became flabby loose and this exercise litreally saved my ass.

The only way to get rid of fat on your thighs is to diet and do cardio. Working the muscle underneath fat will strengthen the muscle, it won't get rid of the fat.
In fact, if you do build muscle without losing the fat first, your thighs may appear even bigger.
I am currently start eating half portion of everymeals already, i hope it works sooner or later for my stupid thighs. And i try to keep my day as active as possible by taking stairs instead of lift. Every1 let's ganbatte!!!!
Good for you, darlin'! I've found the fat started melting off just by jogging a couple days a week. (In fact, I called it "trudging," because I was so slow!) But seriously, I was shocked at the difference, an you might, too, especially if you're already eating better.
I never know jogging can slim thighs, i always had a impression that it'll build muscle then thigh will get bigger, i think i've to start doing like u too davis.

1 - Yes, as it puts pressure and flexes the butt.
2 - It strengthens your knee because of the applied pressure on the knee

You can't target specific areas for fat loss; it's distributed evenly. All it's going to do is build up bulk in the area you're working out, which is the opposite effect that most people are aiming for.
That's not to say you won't burn anything off doing this, however.

No then you're not losing fat, you're building some muscle. You can't burn fat locally on your ass by doing lunges, or burn fat locally on your abs by doing crunches. For burning fat you need to lift weight for a higher metabolism and do cardio

But I think the overall consensus is that muscle helps burn fat and strength training builds muscle. Therefore, strength training indirectly burns fat. You're not going to lose weight doing nothing but lunges but, yeah, when you couple strength training with your cardio or aerobics, you'll be getting stuff done.

You can't spot reduce, meaning if you work out a body part you won't necessarily lose fat from that area. To lose overall body fat you have to do cardio. But yes lunges are a great butt exercise.

the proven fact is that the more u drink water the more u will get rid of the excess water in ur body sounds weird doesnt it?
thats true u will get rid of the wastes and exess water..
ur complexion will look much more better, ur hair nails. sklin and so on.
water is the most important think. make it ur lifestyle that u drink 2 liters daily.

the protein bar is not one of the best cause it consists only 10 grams of protein but tastes soo good (130 calories no additives)
i live in malta a tiny island soo i dont have much option but u can find protein bars 50 grams consting protein. anybody who is trying to lose weight never never stop taking protein; u can eat less but u have to take protein and the best way is to take shakes and powder as they have the most protein with least calories. dont forget ur cells, hair, nails everuthing

and in addition to that i have been running 1 hour everyday for 2 years i dont have much fat on my inner tighs but because of too much cardio they became flabby loose and this exercise litreally saved my ass.
if u r thinking about dieting use HERBALIFE FORMULA 1 WITH FORMULA 3 u can take it instead of breakfast and dinner, it fills u up and very healthy/ im a health freak i was soo doubtful but after seeing great results on my friend i gave it a try. and im also taking herbalife protein bar

hi this exerice works very good. i dont agree with some comments, when u build there muscles it wont look big but lean cause inner tighs are naturally lean u just look trimmed, i have been doing it for a week and perfect results i must say.

You need to watch your diet and do cardio about 40 min to an hour 3 times a week in addition to this.

The only way to get rid of fat on your thighs is to diet and do cardio. Working the muscle underneath fat will strengthen the muscle, it won't get rid of the fat.
In fact, if you do build muscle without losing the fat first, your thighs may appear even bigger.

I am currently start eating half portion of everymeals already, i hope it works sooner or later for my stupid thighs. And i try to keep my day as active as possible by taking stairs instead of lift. Every1 let's ganbatte!!!!

Good for you, darlin'! I've found the fat started melting off just by jogging a couple days a week. (In fact, I called it "trudging," because I was so slow!) But seriously, I was shocked at the difference, an you might, too, especially if you're already eating better.
