  • Is this man aware of the fact that the only reason he is even allowed to be a mormon is because the government would be forced to shut down the cult of mormon if the still practiced their racist beliefs.

I mean seriously mormons believe that all dark skinned people are followers of satan.

  • @IamTheBoss4Life it is said and taught that the gateway to heaven is by baptism. when did the Mormons ever deny any race baptism?

  • Yeah he's still lost, sorry buddy.

  • this dude is still lost

  • @Mrgyn And what? That this good man descended from Cain, hence we consider him evil? That this man loves Christ, and that a blip in history will change that?

  • Bears the mark of cain.

  • @fang11 And is that really the first thing you think of when you see a colored Mormon. So what, someone had to descend from Cain, and this one loves the Lord.

  • they believe that jesus and satan were brothers.....AND they are children of God. So does that make everyone brothers and sisters of Satan?

  • @chillbrotha01 We were brothers and sisters of Lucifer, yes, then he became Satan, the Father of Lies, and the Father rejected him.

  • Mormon apostle's recommend: I found this little interesting tidbit about "The temple recommend of a prophet, seer and revelator," who, in this post, is Elder Ballard. This blogger reports: "I know the person who was checking the temple recommends ... and he told me that Elder Ballard had a special recommend. ...There was no barcode on it, and all three members of the First Presidency sign it. Neat!"

  • "The negroes are not equal with other races where the receipt of certain spiritual blessings are concerned, ...but this inequality is not of man's origin. it is the Lord's doing, is based on his eternal laws of justice, and grows out of the lack of spiritual valiance of those concerned in their first estate [the mormon pre-existence]." Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, p. 527 - 528

  • @thesignsoflife7 Excellent response.

  • The new model also makes it easier to trace a family tree without being lost in a forest. The objective is to present a single family tree rather than a scattering of "raw records" that have built up as members worked on family history individually.

  • "I just encourage everybody to get on first and see what's there, so that they can learn about their ancestors, have their heart turned and make sure their ordinances are completed," said Tim Cross, product manager for FamilySearch.

  • Latter-day Saints, whether they be seasoned family history researchers or novices, can go online and get a clean, simplified view of their family tree. Those involved with the project hope members will take time to explore their family lines.

  • The volunteers made about 400 boxes the scouts made 100 and the church members 300 , according to Dannee Clyne with the Veterans Box Project.

  • He says the new temples in Arizona represent "recognition on the part of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve of the faithfulness of the Saints in Arizona."

  • wow, if you actually do research on this, why don't you study your founders past? are you afraid of what you might find?

  • I know the history of the LDS Church, very well.

It is YOU that must DISTORT it to make your own life seem less miserable!

  • no sir you do not,

give me one thing I have distorted and perhaps I'd believe you. you haven't done anything to combat any of the evidences I've given so I believe that you just got owned

I know it is faith that keeps you in this church- but theres a point when you realize you have to tolerate the crimes and deceptions of your founder Joseph Smith and undermine the flaws and errors found within the doctrines. But in the end it is deception and manipulation that keeps your mind under control

  • @theembracedofgod

let us start with Galations chapter ONE verse 6

"I marvel that ye are so soon removed"

the FALSE gospel Paul is talking about is one people were changing to in his day.

Yet you LIE and say it is the Gospel of Jesus Christ of the LDS Church.

/ready for your SPIN, now that I have caught you in ONE Of many LIES!

  • oh gosh mr Omiolo, your so smart aren't you buddy? you've figured it all out will with your small brain of yours. How brilliant! You've got me!!! lol.

let us reason mr smarty pants-

Is not Galatians historical evidence that FALSE teachers exist?- as they come and go? You can't play stupid on this one, you've run into a corner. Paul is fighting against those who are distorting the Gospel read on to verse freakn 8 "an angel from heaven" can signify your dumb prophet received a different Jesus

  • you are STILL avoiding the time clarification that Paul gave.

    Why is that??

    I think it is OBVIOUS!

  • nope let the text speak for itself to debunk your ideology mr omiolooolo

  • lol, great more stupid subjective opinions. Well I guess we are doing better than the down regressed REVERTED Mormon who sit on the corner and preaches without using the bible because why would they need it when they can MAKE UP EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH?

ahh mr omiolo thanks for showing how delusional you are with the scriptures it just proves my point further.

  • @theembracedofgod

still going to pretend like the scripture does NOT say what it says huh??

  • "I consider the Mesa Temple one of the great pioneer temples. It was built in the time of their poverty and a time of difficult circumstances in Arizona," he says, "and it served such a large geographic area for so long. I hardly ever attend the temple without reflecting on the early Saints who built the temple and had the vision of what it would become."

  • In post-war Germany, Sister Harriet Reich Uchtdorf's mother made a Christmas ornament out of tin foil; in the center was a piece of caramelized sugar.

  • Shortly before Christmas Eve, or sometimes exactly on this day, all of us got together and decorated the Christmas tree. We used glass balls, sweets and a huge variety of homemade straw stars as ornaments.

  • "If there never was a prophet, or apostle of Jesus Christ spoke it before, I tell you, this people that are commonly called negroes are the children of old Cain. I know they are, I know that they cannot bear rule in the preisthood, for the curse on them was to remain upon them, until the resedue of the posterity of Michal and his wife receive the blessings, the seed of Cain would have received had they not been cursed; and hold the keys of the preisthood"

    Brigham Young Addresses

  • Jacob 3:5 (Lamanites cursed) ". . .whom ye hate because of their filthiness and the cursing which hath come upon their SKINS. . ."

  • if you have to LEAVE parts of the verse out their is a reason. Typically because it could REFUTE your desperation.

It is bad enough you bastardize the Bible, but to do it to the BOM too.....

  • lol. I believe that I quoted what is needed to know mr smarty pants now give it a rest and stop crying about it.

  • 1 Nephi 12:23

"And it came to pass that I beheld, after they had dwindled in unbelief they became a dark, and loathsome, and a filthy people, full of idleness and all manner of abominations. "

the same curse that happens to present day ANTImormons. Except today they are NOT in the hot jungles running around without clothes, hence they do NOT get darker.

  • you racist.

  • 2 Nephi 5:21 ". . . a sore cursing . . . as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."

ya, your a racist my friend and an ANTIChrist

  • When trying to establish the need for baptizing the dead, Mormons use 1 Corinthians 15:29:

This is the only verse in the Bible that mentions baptism for the dead. Notice that Paul is not advocating this practice. He merely makes a passing reference to some group that had such a practice. His emphasis throughout that chapter is on the resurrection. Had baptism for the dead been a primary function of the early church surely there would be more teaching on it than this casual reference.

  • Height of the building

As a trade-off for the building's extra 10 feet in height, Gilbert said, the temple will be set back from neighbors' rear yards five times more than what it otherwise would be.

"The result of that is that you will see less of the temple from the neighborhood than if we were 30 feet (high) with the same spire."

  • There is nothing in the New Testament about "eternal marriages" and secret rituals in a Christian temple. The Jewish temple ceremonies are clearly explained in the Old Testament (Exodus, chapters 26-30) and have no relationship to the LDS temple ceremony.

    The

  • Gilbert said at least 50 percent of the people who live adjacent to the temple site have not protested against it.

But for all the neighbors who oppose construction, he said, the church has tried to address their concerns in these areas:

  • the LDS builds temples all around the world for their baptisms and marriages for the dead, as well as their marriages for the living. But the temple of the Old Testament was used for animal sacrifice, not marriage. Christ fulfilled the Old Testament use of the temple. Now we are the spiritual temple of God

2 Cor. 6:16 - Ye are temple of God -

Eph. 2:19-22 - household of God - built on foundation of apostles and prophets. Christ is chief corner stone, we are built together as God's holy temple

  • Jacob 3:5 (Lamanites cursed) ". . .whom ye hate because of their filthiness and the cursing which hath come upon their skins. . ."

Jacob 3:8-9 ". . .their skins will be whiter than yours . . . revile no more against them because of the darkness of their skins . . ."2 Cor. 6:16 - Ye are temple of God -

Eph. 2:19-22 - household of God - built on foundation of apostles and prophets. Christ is chief corner stone, we are built together as God's holy temple

  • "built on foundation of apostles and prophets"

please let me know of your Apostles and Prophets??

or are you willing to admit that your faith is NOT part of the household of God?

  • lol, what a 3rd grade attempt to support your Apostles and your prophets who are supposedly spoken about in Gal 1:7-12 and 1 John 4:1 and acts 17:11-12

FOUNDATION IS built only once; not over and over again- and who is that foundation you say? It is Jesus Christ who fulfilled all the prophets and completed the new covenant.

hey I got a book you can read- its called ACts chapter 13 take a peak my friend.

  • FOUNDATION is ALWAYS there. Never taken away or the house crumbles.

Then you end up with the EVANGELICALS!

  • foundation is always there? So guess that just makes your idea of a great apostasy void huh lol

  • you have trouble with LOGIC huh?

when the foundation is gone there is NO house.

but I am sure you are aware of that!

Ted Haggard runs rampant in a situation like that.

  • lol, you just contradicted yourself without even realizing it haha. you just told me that the foundation is always there- Your claim is senseless so I really don't understand why you are accusing me of having trouble when you can't even make up your mind if the foundation was always there or gone- your logic holds no water and a 2 grader could tell you that.

oohh one down for mr omolooo

  • "It's been a great paragon of cooperation between the various church entities," Gilbert said. "Primarily we had people attend who were in the temple district ... we assigned speakers and we coordinated it with the stake presidents and public affairs council. ... We've also encouraged the various stakes to e-mail the City Council and we've had hundreds of e-mails go ... in support."

  • E. Dale LeBaron, the white man with a pioneering spirit from a small Canadian farm town, was soon to conduct the first baptismal interview of a black man in Africa.

For years, Moses had been coming to the mission house where LeBaron served as president to collect pamphlets and books, then going out to teach the gospel to anyone who would listen.

  • wow, I wonder if he knows about the racist past of the church hes in.

  • we will have Elijah Abel talk to him!

BTW, I am glad your faith finally STOPPED participating in the slave trade!

  • lol, your founder supported the idea of racism... nice try tho.

can't revert the past mr omiolo.... your founders created something called the book of moron and it contained racist passages that had to do with "skin color", don't play dumb I know you know this- its just amazing that you still would have faith in a man who would support this idea that is completely degrading and discriminating to a culture.

  • OREM, Utah -- On a day in June 1978 in Johannesburg, South Africa, a black man named Moses ran down a long set of church steps, while a white man in his mid-thirties ran up.

They met in the middle and embraced.

  • BYU professor E. Dale LeBaron remembered for Africa work

  • clearly this guy is confused about what hes in. lol.

  • so it is the happy person that is confused and the BITTER ANTImormon that is thinking clearly?

sounds really self serving to me!

  • Oh I am happy, happy that you anti Christians look dumber after your subjective testimony-

confused? no, I just haven't been brainwashed to think I can become a god like you. You are amazing.

This is sad, you guys will testify and BARE witness to everything but Christ changing you.

  • @theembracedofgod

Im right there with you lol

  • YOU CAN NOT SEE GOD!

Open your eyes dude, or get some glasses.

We live inside of God, if you can see the Universe, then you can see God. True, you can not see the personality of God, though you can not see a humans personality either. Personality is invisible, it is exclusively experiential.
