@cstich24 first of all, when comes to Amway, paying them for training you mean the CDs they sell. that is optional to purchase. the major conferences, optional to go. second of all, employees, are not in business. they are employees, they are working for someone, the employers are in business.
@cstich24 third, REAL business such as McDolands, you have to pay McDonalds Main Corp to train you to open up their chain store, that is paying just for the training to get the "burger" degree not for the license to run.

Amway has never been a scam since its inception. However, there are scams operating as training companies (totally separate from Amway). These parasites flog their CDs, books and seminars on their downline IBOs so hard that they ruin the reputation of the Amway Business.
I think that the 2nd generation proprietors of the Amway Corporation are idiotic enough to allow Network X1 and other so-called “Systems” like XX Dream B, B...t System, Y System and so on to con IBOs world-wide.

@ntrospect hopefully my ideas get across to you :), finally , I'd like to mention, sales business is ultimately the samething , the difference is that, but the thing that makes amway unique to many of them out there is that it lets you build your system. I do want people to understand that chances are just chances, they are not a gaurantee to success, success requires work and strategy, so going blindly at something without planning through, most of the time, you get no where.
