  • can you explain me why black decided to take on c3 at 2:05 preferring to Nxd2?I thank anticipately.

  • @GomeZeta well ...Nxd2 is definitely possible there, but i think the Nc3 is exerting more pressure on the position than the Bd2 (specifically on the center, and black's d5 pawn). also ...Nxd2 would allow white to develop the queen with Qxd2 and maybe enable white to immediately 0-0-0

  • g3 looks foolish, kind of wrong footed white from the get-go
