Hope is easily my favorite FF13 character and probably in my top 5 FF characters of all time simply because of what he had to deal with (mother's death and putting up with Lightning) then showing he wanted to fight and mature, leaving his father behind and going off again and then forgiving Snow for his mothers death while still having to think about his focus and what's going to happen to his life, all at the age of 14, Hope = Epic

Can you really blame Hope for being so whiney? Watching your mother die and being dragged into a fight you want no part in isn't exactly gonna put somebody in the best of moods.
